Oh, and so is the drunk dude, the Toy Story arms and legs... I mean, I would love if it if these were real... But I don't think so... Now, as for the list? I don't know about it... Army Man? Maybe a toy soldier of some sort, as mentioned before (possibly a tan one this time) but I wonder how they'd pull of the base with the CMF base... Bartender is possible... Hobo is less likely, but possible. Confederate? That's pushing it, all things considered... I don't know. I guess we'll see. The lack of anything Sci-Fi whatsoever is odd. I'd say probably not... Do we have a release date? If it is later, than we probably won't get any real information until closer to it. Quote
rodiziorobs Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 (edited) #5 already exists--and in one or another form, #4, #7, and #8 do as well--#6 seems too far from TLG's standards, #3, while accurate as a flight attendant, would only reopen the whole sexist toy debate, #2 is overtly religious, something is against portraying. Onslaught Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 (edited) The picture is too old. I am not sure but it could be old as series 1 or 2. When I first saw it I thought it is fake. But then number 5 and number 7 I saw them in Monster fighters. And the others came from the other series but different versions. number 2 number 4 number 8 So it is still possible to number 6 to be Hobo from series 13. Generally even if it's the draft, not all ideas fit in official products. I'm not really expecting a vampire lady since there is already Mrs Vampyre along with the Swamp Creature. And I'm not sure TLG can come up with a more original design for a CMF vampire lady. As for a Baseball Player, I have mixed feelings about the discontinued NBA regular theme so I'd probably not be happy to see that. Quote

I'm not suggesting it's a real list, but it could very well be just like what was released for Toy Story. Dont forget that the leaked names of CMFs are often vague or even misleading. Sometimes theyre in another language and something gets lost in translation. For all we know, the army man could well be a toy soldier (if the list is real, which I doubt). Quote

It doesn't matter what "thing" they are for you... TLG actually called the Toy Story set "Army Men on Patrol," not "Toy Soldiers on Patrol." It is perhaps a difference in cultures (U.S. vs. Italy), but we never called those toys "toy soldiers," they were always referred to as Army Men, just as TLG called them. I was maybe a bit brief in my reply because I entered it on my tablet... the lists that have been given in the past (and again, I'm not suggesting this one is real) have always been subjected to wide interpretation of what they actually are. I don't know if an Army Man is in the future of CMFs, I'm saying they've released Army Men before, and yes, they actually called them that. Quote

But, at the same time, as has happened before, what people have stated as being the figures are widely open to interpretation... the "Hobo" could be any kind of vagabond, not simply some homeless drunk... would actually work well with people into trains. The Confederate officer might not be confederate at all, and someone just got it confused... same with bartender, which could simply be a soda jerk or something. I don't believe any of these lists until we get more proof, just saying - again, as has happened before - that what someone posts after a glimpse of some figures can be widely open to interpretation. It's happened before... before we saw series 12, someone says Wizard and we come up with a dozen different ideas of what the wizard will be... Quote
