If they have seen then little shops between €20-€30 are a success, why they don't create some for city line.

Boys likes more than bikes and cycles. Why not a comic shop, a video games shop, a litle corner food shop where to buy soda, chip potatoes,... A food truck could be another interesting idea, a place with arcade machines,....

I hope TLG read this, but if they thing the best for the company is continue including this kind of sets on Friends, we have not other option that buying and MOCing Friends sets for our cities.

Because that stuff doesn't sell.

It's like when people complain we get trains, but why not a set for an extra car to make it longer, LEGO all the time goes "People say they want them, we make one and it doesn't sell".

I agree......though what about a hardware store......there are quite a few that designed for women to shop at and there are also a lot of women who swing a cordless drill around the their houses ?

Perhaps the idea behind Mia's Sports Car is to push Friend's collectors into MOC'ing structures for these accessorized sets ?

I saw a lot of the new January sets at my Target last night. They had the hot air balloon, Olivia's vet ambulance, Mia's sports car, Emma's house, Stephanie's pizzeria (red scooter!), and Olivia's pool. They look great.

Picked up the Pizzeria and Mia's roadster at Target tonight (Wyoming). They had all of the new Friends and Disney sets out except for the Frozen castle - I was really surprised to see them.

I'm still kicking myself for not finishing this year's $10 Friends sets (Now sold out everywhere.) but the fact that the Lighthouse is $40 for 473 pieces when the hot air balloon is $30 with 200 less pieces is surprising to me.

I asked about the 2015 sets on target tonight.

The employee recommends to ask for the sets to the manager. They already have the sets in stock, and the stores that are selling them are selling because there is space on aisle to do it. Ask for the manager to pick it up for you if they are not visible.

At TRU Carre senart near Paris (France), all new Friends sets are available... I suppose we could find them at the other TRUs.

I think it is because of the balloon parts, so they would cost more to mold and make and then Lego wants to get their money back, my daughter is super excited about both, but having been to Target and TRU where I live and have found nothing. At this point, I will just wait til Jan 1 and go to the Lego store to get the points.

I'm not complaining about the $30 price point of the hot air balloon, I think it's perfectly fair. I just think it's odd with all the insane prices for Star Wars and City sets that a set with 475 pieces isn't $50, but instead $40. And being an American and never getting Series 6 animals I'm happy to finally be able to get a seal.

I hear you, I was out with the kids today and went to an obscure Target I usually never check and lo and behold, they had the lighthouse and hot air balloon along with the puppy set. I am hoping series 6 will hit Jan 1 with the others...so odd that they are not releasing it here in the US. I saw what you mean on the hot air balloon though, it didn't seem like it was priced right.

Lego is lying up a storm through email. I emailed them about when series 6 will hit the states. here's the response :

I'm sorry that I can’t tell you anything about LEGO Friends Series 6 at the moment. Something like that might be coming soon, but our new toys are always kept secret until they’re announced in the catalogue or on LEGO.com. That’s because it takes a long time to design and make new toys, and we sometimes need every minute until they hit the shelves to make them perfect. Besides... we look forward to surprising you!"

that's an awfully WEAK excuse for lego being to LAZY to get them to the states or at least giving a release date. Because ya'll want it to be a "surprise"/" hasn't been announced online or in catalogue yet"/it takes time to develop stuff???

NEWSFLASH! Series 6 has been out in the UK for at least 3 months now, images have been WELL KNOWN since at least the summer, possibly spring! So that lame excuse is null and void! If I was willing to pay nearly double retail, I could take and buy them from ebay or bricklink or contact a fellow Lego fan over in the UK and buy them TONIGHT! By doing a google search, I am seeing all three on the AMERICAN lego site right now!

There is NO excuse for this!!! The 2013 animals came out at the same time as the UK yet this year was nothing short of a disaster! The UK had 3 waves this year filled with wonderful animals with release time frames of January for wave 4, june for wave 5, and September for wave 6. What was the states faced with? Wave four in LATE march, wave 5 FINALLY showed its face in October, and it's now a waiting game for when/if lego decides to ship off wave 6! "

You are arguing over a form email. They send that out all the time when people ask questions that no one knows the answer to.

There is no need to be rude in the email. The USA has always been many months behind in the Animal series, but I don't think we will even get the last ones because they have become different in the new year.

I may be the type of person that can be patient for a short while but after that i depend explantion for the hold up! You have to trust me when i say that by the time that the UK was getting wave 6 when the states still only had wave 4, i was ready to chew out lego but no, i was patient.

And no the states hasn't always been this far behind! Last year the states and the UK were in sync or if we weren't, it was off by maybe a month. fast forward to this year and it's a disaster! January 2014 rolled around and i had the money in fist for wave 4, especially excited for the price drop. UK got it and the states was left waiting tell late march. Summer rolls around and the UK gets wave 5 while the states still had wave 4. September rolls around and the UK has wave 6. States STILL has wave 4 and doesn't get wave 5 until the following month. We are now 2 days from christmas and i've yet to hear of a find in the states for wave 6. On top of that, i am really worried that we might not even get wave 6 since the boxed animal sets are the things slated to replace the bags.

i am NOT complaining about the boxed sets at all since if those are anything like other boxed sets of that size, those will be about a billion times easier to find where I live. However, i'd just like to be able to get my hands on the last wave of bags so i can stop panicking about missing out on them altogether.
