I hope they might announce a new Rayman game, since they did announce Rayman Legends back then (although that was alongside a new Nintendo console)

and since Ubisoft didn't... but I'm not keeping my hopes up this time.

Eh, not a very good direct. The Mario and Luigi + Paper Mario crossover looks fun, but I wish they would've gave us a new Paper Mario game. I like the gameplay of them more than the Mario and Luigi series.

With the new AC figures coming, and cards, and a game...seems the price of Villager will possibly skyrocket. I managed to get ahold of Ness for about $20, I wonder if there's any hope for me to get a Villager. I'd much rather spend $50 on LEGO than on one of these figures.

I am looking for a low price Charizard though, to actually use in SSB since my boyfriend won't let me open any of these ones we have so far. >.<

That was....awful. Literally one of the worst conferences I've ever watched

You must not've watched EA's.

That was probably the worst of any of their presentations... It was really sad.

Almost everything worth getting hyped over was leaked.

All the rest had already been announced, and it was just a matter of patience on our end.

I don't like the developer filler. They should have showed off gameplay.

Fans are also not loving the Animal Crossing and Federation Force spin offs (I refuse to even affiliate it with Metroid).

Starfox Zero, Hyrule Warriors Legends, and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam look heavenly!!

Being the Amiibo freak I am, I'm going to be sucked dry this September (The Skylander Amiibo can only be found in the starter packs for the Wii U, Wii (why?), and 3DS versions.

All in all. I'm just... disappointed.

EDIT: CEO of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, has formally apologized for today's Digital Event.

I didn't read anyone posting about the smash ballot, where you vote for a character you want in the fourth smash bros game.

I voted for Zane, but now I think that might have been a bad idea.

Wait, was this a bump?! oops.

It's ok to bump a topic with something relevant to add.

I actually hadn't heard about the vote, but I am not the best at keeping up with the Nintendo stuff like that.

Despite recent events we have some tragic Amiibo news as well.

Dark Pit is exclusive to Best Buy. He will be available on July 31st. There will be no pre-orders. There will be none available online. They are only available in store. Limit of one per person.

As an example, a distribution center in California is receiving 9,000 Dark Pits. With about 78 stores in its, each store will have at least 100. There are positives an negatives with this one.

However, the exact opposite can be said about Palutena...

Palutena is the first ever Amazon Exclusive. She releases on July 24th. She will only be available online. There will be no pre-orders). Her orders will be during "normal business hours" (as opposed to midnight). Limit of one per person.

Amazon Gaming has specifically stated that she is the best stocked Amiibo they have received to date, but with eye defects being prominent in Palutenas, buying multiples will be impossible. There are only negatives here.

It will be possible some future Nintendo games and other media will show Satoru Iwata's dedication before the game starts as a tribute.

To add, Super Mario Maker or Star Fox Zero will most likely be attributed to him. That or they'll release Mother 3 in honor of him, but that's a little bit far fetched.

EDIT: The Amiibo Availability Chart has been updated.

-Dark Pit and Palutena are now listed under "Exclusives."

-Extra Sonic and Samus deleted.

-Sheik, Samus, and the Inklings have been moved.

-Yarn Yoshi, Chibi-Robo, Isabelle, and Digby are packaged alongside pre-orders for their respective games and are available now for pre-order.

Where are the reports about eye defects coming from? I haven't seen any reports of this, but I'm curious and worried.

That wasn't as difficult to grab as I had expected. Probably turn out to be the lowest valued exclusive so far.

Jigglypuff was up for over two weeks online when she was restocked. She has been the lowest valued so far (not mine, sadly).

Ness has been restocked in store three times already. Twice online.

Greninja had nearly 100 per store.

Things are certainly looking brighter with these exclusives, but Palutena was not at all the easiest. For the first five minutes, us Amiibo fans crashed Amazon. That's unheard of these days, but somehow we did it.

Also, the prospects for Dark Pit have gotten a bit more grim. 20 Dark Pit minimum per store (this is basically all that small stores will get).
