Commander Beltar Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 This is a pretty small mech that i finished today. Thought I'd share it: The Advanced Armored Recon/Gurad (A.A.R.G.) Mech. Gun(s) Version One on the right, version two on the left: And A shot behind it: I will probably fix up some of the joints, because I'm not to pleased with some. Also I will need to fix a couple, certain parts. (With a keen eye, you will notice) ~Beltar C & C Welcome! Quote
DPrime Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Love it from the front! From the back I can't help but see a couple minifigs hanging off his shoulders, though. ;) Quote
plew2000 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Great work! The helmets on the shoulders look very nice. However the cyclops like eye needs a black or yellow body. Try a different type of face then it would be even better. Quote
___ Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Looks interesting...namely minifig torsos and helmets used as a part of structure, very interesting. BTW: I'm not sure if you are aware of some "ilegal" brick connections in your model tho (in terms of LEGO own "rules"...I understand that like this it looks unique and everything but be advised that some connections you've made are not allowed...at least not allowed by LEGO stuff, sometime before I was advised here about it, do not remember who it was but someone from eurobricks send me a LEGO pdf document about this things...and I have to say I was sad probably as you will be knowing that many connections I was used too are simply prohibited, ah)? I am designing a new head for it at the moment , and I thought about the yellow or black cyclops. Who knows, might be the one I make next? That would make a cool MFZ frame! That would be really cool if I was to use it as one! Though, it may be a little to big for it. Looks interesting...namely minifig torsos and helmets used as a part of structure, very interesting. Haha, I am very aware of the illegal connections everywhere. 'Sometimes' I stray from the rules of lego.......hehe....... I also found a way to 'remove' a couple of illegal connections, but it requires moving everything out by a plate. Might try that just to see what it's like. I will probably update this post tomorrow with the new head design. ~Beltar Edit: Well here's a possible head design: Updated Head Hmm.. then it seems I can use it as one! ll ll v Edited September 1, 2014 by Commander Beltar Quote
