The battle is slowly turning into the heroes' favor and all of them manage to do something useful this round. Lynne fully heals Leofwein who then continues to hack away furiously at the Red Dragon. Orel stands vigilant to safeguard any of the party members from harm the next turn. Polly cheers as she is finally able to hit her first target. She lands a nasty blow, but doesn't quite take out the priest.

The Heroes now fully have the upper hand in the battle. Orel takes out one of the assailing Spearman, smiting the Undead into oblivion. Leofwein, getting fatigued from his previous streak, now misses his attack on the Red Dragon, who is on the verge of fainting herself. Both Lynne and Polly hit their targets, but Arn manages to escape the killing blow and returns to his ship, where he cowers in the back.

The onslaught continued and the Heroes quickly dispatched of their remaining foes. Heavily bleeding and muttering profanities in a language that was unknown to the Heroes, the Red Dragon retreated to her drakkar. Spitting small spouts of fire in the air, the pirate captain seemed like a dragon driven into a corner, trying to keep everyone at bay. The mist slowly vanished, as did the ship, in an unexplicable, mysterious manner. No doubt magic was involved and the Drowned priest had his hand in it. The fury of the Red Dragon was not over, however, but she was no longer the Heroes' concern.
