talos Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 There are several toilets/bathroom/showers in the Friends sets, Heartlake High, Stephanie's Beach House, Sunshine Ranch. I noticed that looking for sets for my niece. Quote

Legogal Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 It seems that my many minifigs need a place to sleep at night. Could we have a few apartment buildings with more than two tiny apartments? There aren't even enough park benches for folks to sleep on, so let's push for some housing for our homeless minifigs. Isn't this what CITY should be all about? Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Dolphin Cruiser also has a toilet. Except there is no door or cover for the shy user. No comment on no door..... ......now in city only cells and construction sites have toliets....so yeah, perhaps a public toilet block should be included in the range one day. Quote
Wodanis Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) Now if we could just have more buildings for the toilets this is where MOCing comes into play. I don't mind building my own things. If anything that is what is the core concept of the City line, to base things on what we see existing in the world. May as well come up with your own design and share it, the rest of us can always make improvements or alterations based on taste but it would keep the spirit of imagination alive. lightningtiger Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Most of us here have had to MOC everything from shops to toilets, maybe as look as we keep doing our MOCing then Lego might wake up.........now looking at this earlier today we might have some hope..... Quote
dr_spock Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 That could be the new version of LEGO brand store given out during LEGO Store grand openings. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I found it this morning on Brickset, pity no instructions for it up yet on the Lego Customer Service page. Just goes to prove Lego can design cool shop designs......now only if the city designers take note. Quote

lightningtiger Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Instructions are up - and linked to on Brickset... AWESOME thanks 'L@go'.......I feel some MOC'ing coming soon based on some building ideas in this set. Quote
badbob001 Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Closest thing would be the Town Hall with a modified interior. I don't think kids would enjoy lawyers and court proceedings like we would People criticize the Town Hall for being generic, but I think because of that, it's one of the more versatile modular buildings. With little exterior change, It can be used as: a town hall (obviously) an apartment building (The Lego Movie) a court house a bank a school a police station most types of office building: post office, newspaper office, etc Quote

dr_spock Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Not to forget that you can take the parts and create whatever your imagination tells you. Imagine like a toilet to complement all those coffee cups and coffee machines LEGO put into their CITY sets. Actually toilets are pretty easy to MOC yourself. Quote
parksroad Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 My inner child is so proud that this thread became about toilets Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Great this thread is going potty now ! It's true, if Lego don't make the set.......we can create it ourselves, sometimes we can say who needs Lego's designers eh ? Quote
SweetiePie88 Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I think it's amusing that there are two(?) toilets in the 2015 City line but neither of them is connected to a building. It does make you wonder though, if minifigs need toilets where have they been going before the advent of the Pet Shop? Was that the first LEGO toilet? These are the questions that keep us up at night. Maybe they use a tree or fire hydrant or maybe they just pee behind one of the many vehicles in Lego city. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Maybe they use a tree or fire hydrant or maybe they just pee behind one of the many vehicles in Lego city. Is that why the police cells are full because each cell has a toilet ? I think that's enough of the toilet humour........we don't want to tick off the moderators now do we ? Quote

lightningtiger Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Ehh, everyone could use a little toilet humor from time to time So true, so true......sometimes. Actually city gets more toilets than ever next year.......three in de-construction and at least one in swamp police. Quote
Wodanis Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 So true, so true......sometimes. Actually city gets more toilets than ever next year.......three in de-construction and at least one in swamp police. That's because they drink so much coffee! Mugs are in many sets. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 That's because they drink so much coffee! Mugs are in many sets. And they stay awake at night too ! There's another point......coffee cups in trucks, coffee machines in police stations, etc., at least it's not booze. Quote

That Lego Simpsons episode had booze served in coffee mugs. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 You can never know for sure. That Lego Simpsons episode had booze served in coffee mugs. Very true....like the Goon Show radio players all drank brown milk........half milk half scotch. Man this is going so off topic isn't it ? Quote
LAKAbricks Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 That's because they drink so much coffee! Mugs are in many sets. It might be explained by the fact there are so few beds. They drink coffee to stay awake as they cannot stay too long in bed when sharing it with 237 other minifigs Quote
