Favorite Bionicle character

Now that we have news of Bionicle's return, who is your favorite Bionicle character because of their personality/complexity?

I'll start off with three main ones... I really liked Kopaka since I was small, but Jaller was also great and interesting, especially because he was afraid to die as he had already "died" once, and Matoro for his overall compassion and willpower as shown especially in the Voya Nui/Mahri Nui ark... So who is your favorite character?

Pohatu! He's cool and laid back and fat and can kick boulders, just like me!

My favourite is Lewa! He was my first Bionicle. I got him from Sainsburys back in 08 and was instantly hooked.

I've always liked Icarax for some reason.

I mean, that was the main reason, but I interpreted that as also being fat. A lot of people did, or at least joked about it. I thought it was cool at the time. Still do!

Vezon was always a favorite for me- I love twisted and insane characters, and he was always that one character who seemed to be on the brink all of the time.

I was also quite a fan of Makuta (Teridax) While yes he is of course the main big-bad, I especially enjoyed him in 2007 during his conversations with Matoro. I felt like he had more depth than just "ah blah shadows are evil."

I'd say Tahu for sentimental reasons. He was the first Bionicle set I owned, after all.

I would say Tahu ajd Gali. Because she was my very first LEGO set, in Nuva form, and I got Tahu later.

XD Same! First Toa Mata and favourite Toa Nuva! I remember my mom was searching for it the whole of my birthday week, and when she came home and revealed she FINALLY found it, I was bouncing off the walls with excitement! So many memories!

For me, matoro will always be my favorite. Jaller was pretty awesome too.

Kopaka without question. I relate to him a lot personally as we're both incredibly introverted. Also love his element. Ice? So cool. Ice puns? Even cooler.

Not to mention he defeated three Rahkshi single-handedly in the MoL movie. And held off all six Rahkshi in Bionicle Comic 14. Again, single-handedly.

He's pretty chill. Will definitely be the first set I'll purchase from the new wave.

Nuparu (Inika) and Lewa (Phantoka) were definitely the coolest sets I have ever bought. Nuparu was always unique for an Onu-Matoran, but having a flying Toa of Earth was just the coolest. Lewa was just...Lewa, which pretty much says it all.

I always liked Nikila and wished that they would have shown us more of Tuyet. I liked how they brought Tuyet back into the MU and were going to make her a main character before they left her

trapped in a fortress by one crazy Great Being which was about to be blown up by another crazy Great Being.

Oh gods, who to pick...

For the Matoran, my favourite was Tanma. He's a (comparitively) young and inexperienced leader, who has to fill the shoes of the lost leader, but does it without screwing up.

For the Toa, Jaller. He was my favourite from 2003 onwards, and his Toa Mahri form looked awesome. Also, he lit a guy on fire underwater and suppressed a Nova Blast. He's awesome.

For the Makuta, Icarax. He was an interesting character, a total badass, and he was The Starscream, one of my favourite archetypes.

For villains over all: Teridax. Basically my favourite villain ever.

For other characters: Ignika. I liked the mix of godlike power and naivete.

But my favourite overall character: Matoro. Just... Matoro.

Totally agree, I loved Matoro's reaction when he said that he wants the Toa to succeed...

Vakama all the way. He's a capable leader, and I can get "into his head" very easily. And he is clever and powerful enough to be the only toa aside from Takanuva to actually go head-to-head with Makuta and defeat him.

Makuta Antroz is actually a very close second, though. He's also very clever, a strong leader (which is really a demanding occupation when his "team" is composed of Makuta), and he is the only Makuta ever, aside from Teridax, to openly realize the danger Toa can present and to warn against underestimating them.

I love like sooo many characters but if I had to narrow it down to categories...

Toa: Tahu,Taknauva, Matoro, Hahli

Matoran: Macku, Kopeke,

Turaga: Nokama, Vakama, Dume (real one), Lhikan

Agori: Berix

Glatorian: Kiina, Gresh and Ackar

Others: Teridax, Mata Nui, Helryx, Tuyet, Axonn, Brutaka, Roodaka

aaghhh, too many to love; too hard to pick.
