I recently submitted a Looney Tunes product idea on LEGO Ideas. Please check it out. I did the best with the resources that I have and will keep improving the build and rendering. It is based on three classic Looney Tunes shorts (Rabbit Fire, Bugs Bunny Rides Again, and Haredevil Hare). Here is the link to the project: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b2b824e5-25b0-45a0-9f2d-d29eb7e86434 Please support the project if you want a LEGO Looney Tunes set. Thanks, TheProtagonist.

It was revealed today that the January series will have 12 minifigures

That strongly hints the January wave won't be the Looney Toons, because licensed series tend to have more miniifigures than usual, not the opposite

Or it is LT, as its a stretch to come up for with the full 16 without going too obscure, and the likelihood of lots of moulds is high.

Having said that the rumour is for both H1 series to have 12 figures, I wonder if this is a trial for the new normal.

I agree here.

Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety Pie, Sylvester, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Marvin the Martian, Roadrunner (I'm not sure how as a minifigure), Wile E. Coyote, Taz, Speedy Gonzales. Maybe Grannie, Mad Scientist, Foghorn Leghorn, Buzzards? I think nearly every one needs a new mould to be done right.

Another idea for CMFs I had was a Back to the Future series.  Since there's really not that many major characters throughout the movies and most of it is just different outfits for the main characters, I feel like a CMF series might be the best way to get a lot of the figures, especially since there also aren't a ton of possibilities for a set.  Highly, highly doubt this ever happens, but I figured I could still hope, at least!

1. Marty McFly (1985) - Orange vest outfit, includes a skateboard and cameracorder

2. Doc Brown (1985) - White radiation suit, accessories are the remote for the DeLorean and a helmet (reusing the hazmat suit helmet piece)

3. Jennifer Parker - accessory is the "YOU'RE FIRED" page on a 2x2 tile from BTTF 2/3

4. Biff Tannen (1955) - accessory is the Gray's Sports Alamanac

5. Buford 'Mad Dog' Tannen - accessory is a gun

6. Doc Brown (1885) - reuses the Butch Cavendish hair/hat piece from Lone Ranger, accessory is the rifle with telescope

7. Marty McFly/Clint Eastwood (1885) - Dressed in the pink/blue outfit, double-sided face to change from clean to dirty.  Accessory is a hat

8. Marty McFly (2015) - Includes the rainbow hat and a hoverboard.

9. Doc Brown (2015) - Includes a double sided face with the goggles on one side and eyes on the other, accessory is the "Local youth jailed" newspaper on a 2x2 tile

10. Marvin Berry - accessory is a guitar, one hand somehow have some sort of cast over it if possible

11. Biff Tannen (2015) - accessory is his cane (new mold)

12. Clara Clayton - Not sure on her accessory, honestly.  Maybe a book, or the photo that Doc gives to Marty at the end of BTTF 3?

13. Doc Brown (end of BTTF 3) - accessory is Einstein or the photo that he gives to Marty

14. Doc Brown (1955) - accessory is the mind-reading device as a new mold

15. George McFly (1955) - Prom outfit, accessory is "Tales from Space" book on a 2x2 tile

16. Lorraine Baines (1955) - Prom outfit, although I'm not sure on her accessory
