Anything is possible, but it won't fit without modifying the backup structure.

.... Ok noted , I guess I can only choose one ... Whether it's the jurgen Remote control ultimate , or this gerger remarkable piece..

Hard to make a choice between these two .. my eyes eager for the GMK6400 , but the heart wanted a ultimate RC.. Hard choices .. it would be even great if the GMK6400 has a remote version .

But then , life is good .. can't ask too much , appreciate all those to have contributed to make this GMK6400 a possible for the public . Respect man !

????? The GMK6400 is a remote version. All functions are motorized and remote controlled.

I think you are talking about this one. BTW, GMK 6400 is remote controlled.

You are a clone of Madoca .

He is my favourite MOCer.

Thanks heaps kandykop, these pics are convincing enough to start building the MOC.

Ask Blakbird, he has got all past, current, and future sets and MOCs built.

That's true! Honestly, he is the one in the world I envy the most!

It is hard to explain just how large this thing is, but my daughters were impressed.

In the high prestige competition "Daughters and Mobile Cranes" I hereby submit my contribution

Given the crane is a WIP and I only have one daughter I do not expect to win the contest, but I might at least be runner up!

The part numbers are already available. If you download the Brickstore parts list that I posted, you will have the correct part number for each and every part.

The yellow shock absorber is "extra hard" and the light gray one is "soft". Don't worry too much about the belt. Just use any rubber band that fits.

Ok, some update about building and the instructions.

I'm making the last fine-tuning for the carrier instructions. While building, it was a challenge to fit the right steering by connecting the axle modules, and some parts steps have to been changed. The carrier works fine with driving forward, but driving backwards makes some noise in the gears. The portal axle system is rather wobbly, the wheels are not exactly in line while driving, especially on carpets.

The cabin roof needed a little modification, because of the PF connectors it couldn't fit completely on the top.

For the wheel hub axles I used 2,5 technic axles, they are easy to get by cutting a 5L axle in two 2,5L axles. For the part list I created a special DAT file, it appears in the part list, but the length is shown with 2, and not with 2.5. I think I've to write the length manually. Or has someone another idea to define the axle length? Here the example:

Another question: Which resolution you prefer for the instructions? 150 or 300 dpi?

Greetings

Alex

Go for 300dpi for sure. It's waaay better than 150 dpi. :classic:

About the axle length... I have no idea how to fix that. maybe you can just give all 2.5 axles a weird color, like orange, or pink and put a warning at the first page that pink (or whatever) axles should be axles of lenght 2.5.

From what I have heard, the part length reporting function of LPub is hard coded so you can't modify it.

I agree that 300 dpi is well worth the extra file size. It looks so much better. Anything more than that is diminishing returns though.

keithleon: we can't open your dropbox links. I highly suggest you simply get on your PC/laptop, install BrickStock, and open the parts lists provided by Blakbird in there. It contains all the information you need.

Thanks for the pointers jantjeuh ! Will try that . Thank you

Also, you might want to consider importing the parts list as a Private MOC on Rebrickable, so you can easily see what parts you are missing.

Roger sir ! I'm still trying to figure out and digest what's those brickstock program is all about , until I come to have a better understanding before working my way up to rebrickable moc .

Btw thanks bro so much for the trouble .

OK, I've now finished the instructions for the carrier, I've exported the pictures with 300 dpi.

But there's a new problem: While creating the BOM, it shows a complete wrong part count, a lot of parts are shown double or more. I think it has to do with ghosts/submodels, but I'm not common enough with LDRAW to where I've made errors. In the assemblies the part lists are shown correctly. So I do not know whats the issue. Clearing LPUB cache didn't help.

Bricksafe seems to be down, and my dropbox makes problems, so I cannot upload the CAD file now. If someone wants to have a look, please send PM.

Here is the BOM picture:
