Aland1916 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 It's more like a cellar but it fits in Agriculture:Storehouse category ... Everyone needs food. But you can't always get it fresh. In winter, it's nice to have cellar and some dried meet , filed herrings and some ale or honey wine in it. And since winter is coming, Erik Alander needs a cellar too ... It's small and simple, so I hope it's suitable. I hope I'll have second phase made soon. Quote
MKJoshA Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I like it, but it seems too much like your house. I would maybe try some different techniques, like a different door or different roof style to change it up a bit. Quote
Scaevola Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Nice build, although I wholly concur with MKJoshA that this is too similar to your house. Not sure about that small-sloping roof either, but you've got some nice ideas here. Keep them coming Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Nice build :) I do agree that it's similiar to your house on the left side. Quote
Aland1916 Posted September 8, 2014 Author Posted September 8, 2014 Thanks. I'm new in housebuilding, I'm still experimenting with techniques Quote
TheRedViper Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Nice build, I like the subtle Game of Thrones reference as well. Quote
LordDan Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Winter is coming?! As far as I'm concerned it's always winter in Mitgardia! That's why I don't live there, I just visit for the skiing( we do have rudimentary skiing in GoH, right?)Anyway, nice storehouse, although it would have been nice to see some of that delicious food you spoke of. Also why does an uninhibited storeroom need a fireplace? Besides from those things it is a very nice build. You have a very distinct style for your buildings, and I think its fine that many of your builds use that style. [Disclaimed: I understand that Mitgardia is not all snow, and that it has sand, and barren places where the snow has retreated, and icy rivers, and tundra, and cold mountains, etc( and yes, some not cold areas). That being said, it is much more fun to take the stereotypical view] Also sorry for the extremely long post. Quote
mrcp6d Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 In the winter, it IS pretty much all snow! The southern parts only thaw out a bit in the (short!) summer time. Quote
Hammerhand Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Nice simple build mate! Some advice would be to maybe cover up some of the studs on the roof, just to make look a bit more "polished". Quote
de Gothia Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Looks promising and I´m looking forward to phase two! The photos could use some work though, skip the flash or the lamp to the left. Try to find some more natural light (like outside) Quote
soccerkid6 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Nice little storehouse, I like the roof and the silver studs on the door look good as well Quote
