Ohhh. That's the Republic Cruiser. So we need a minifig scaled RBR.

I agree with you about the Tantive IV that is minifig scale. I mean, they made the Imperial Star Destroyer minifig scale. Why not the Tantive IV? Have vader, leia, antilles, a few stormtroopers and rebel soldiers, and r2-d2 acn c3po

I think a RBR would be one of the last things they would do, only because of the molds for the helmets, the new heads, and the spacing. But then again, the AT-ST helmet wasn't that hard!

Every once and a while Lego comes out with a new mold or two for figures. If they only used molds they already had, nothing for Star Wars would look authentic. Darth Vader would have a black head with a round helmet on top, no detail, and stormtroopers the same thing. Eventually, Lego has to make new molds to make the set authentic. I would bet money they will make a RBR sometime in the next few years.

I was wondering this morning during my coffee what kind of clones we would have with the AT-AP (very existencial question in the morning :-P ) so I looked in the SW databank.

That AT-AP was only used on 2 locations: Kashyyyk & Felucia. Bly led the 327th Star Corps (yellow marking) on Felucia & Gree led the 41st Elite Corps (camouflage marking). So in theory, we should have one of those 2 (and I really want those Kashyyyk trooper)

BUT, knowing TLC and their fantastic ability to misuse right clones, we might be lucky and have one of the 2 clones I really want the most:

* Galactic Marines

* "Vader's Fist" clones aka the 501st Legion (special Ops troopers)

I really want to see those 2 clones in a battlepack hehe !!!

Now what would be cool (and I reminded this because of aayla's post), would be an AT-PT, with some yellow clones, and of course a new minifig, Aayla Secura!

At the price mark AT-PT is set, and considering the vehicle itself it's nothing to complicated, I wouldn't surprise myself to see an a new exclusive minifig there. And come on, they already opened the hostilities with Kit Fisto.

I had an interesting idea that night:

Might it be that there will be two different Hoth Battle Packs in 2008 - one with Rebels and one with Snowtroopers?

The reasons for this idea are very simple:

Since the so called LEGO Star Wars 7668 - Rebel Scout Speeder will only cost 13,99 Euros it isn't possible that it will include Rebels and Snowies together. Secondary the name of this BP makes it nearly impossible that this set will include Snowies.

We got the news that there will be a Hoth BP and after a while the news that we will get a LEGO Star Wars 7668 - Rebel Scout Speeder. This

information is not yet very significant when being posted july before the releasing of the sets, I'd say.

So I thought: Lego would never release a SW set - especially a BP - with minifigs and some other stuff if these minifigs have nothing to fight against. Look at this year's BPs: There is one with Clonetroopers and one

with Battledroids so that they can fight against each other.

Since the Hoth Rebel Base is only availale at S@H and in some special shops not everybody will buy it. But the BPs are - I think so - mainly constructed for kids. If these kids don't buy the Hoth Rebel Base then the Hoth BP with only Rebels would make no sense.

Somebody might now say: "The Hoth Rebel Base includes Snowies. So it isn't necessary that there will be a BP which includes them, too!" But I don't think so. I mean: Since we got a new MTT this year, a BP with Battledroids wouldn't have been necessary, too. So there is no reason why there shouldn't be a BP which includes Snowtroopers in 2008.

Consequently I think that either the Imperial Dropship will include Snowies or there will be another BP with Snowies in 2008.

By the way: Since TLC released the Imperial Landing Craft this year I doubt if there will be an Imperial Dropship - which has the same function; namely to transport troopers - in the next year.

Yews, because we saw what set mace windu was in and what setting, and shock troopers in kashyyk!! Lego needs to study more, and I don't think we'll have galactic marines athough i want them. probably something disappointing, don't get your hopes up.

It is painfully simple to make a Galactic Marine, almost as simple as it was to make the Kashyyyk 41st Elite Corps trooper. All they need is the right color palette and the right idea. 501st troops would be simple, probably much like Aayla's custom.

Who knows !! It would be a cheap fig for TLC to produce since the factory work hard right now (I suppose) on the snowie helmet !! Galactic marines would be lke a snowie with different colour pattern !! Samr goes with Senate guards and so on !!

I never understand why they don't release new figs when they have all existing molds |-/

I looked again at the list of the 2008 SW sets from january and had an idea:

Since the Imperial Dropship will only cost 13,99 Euros and the Rebel Speeder Bike, too: Can't it be that the Imperial Dropship is a BP with a little vehicle and 3-4 Snowies? (Looking at the price the Imperial Dropship can never be a big vehicle with 3-4 minifigs how it was predict some time before!) That would make sense in order to that the Hoth Rebel Troopers from the Rebel Speeder Bike BP have somebody to fight against and it would be similar to the 2007 sets where we got a BP with Clones and a BP with Battle Droids. In my opinion a BP with Stormtroopers in addition to a BP with Hoth Rebel Troopers would make no sense.

I have a felling that the Hoth Battlepack will come with 2 Rebels and 2 Snowies

Lego was experimenting with the clone battlepacks to see if people would buy

After they saw how popular they were they decided to make more and, mix good vs evil as well

AT-AP better have either galactic marines or kashyyyk troopers

About Anakins fighter though,is that from the CW series or something else?

I can't wait to see pics or to buy them at the end of december :-D
