...and so, Sinner swung the long lost Technic Sword of Vader, and the evil Galidorian binding the two worlds was slain. The world rejoiced; at last they had a place to discuss their favourite sets without fear of persecution or the stress of not being able to find topics. The Minifig Customization Workshop - where imagination takes shape

    LuxorV
    By LuxorV,

    MCWFPBanner_002.jpg

On December 2007 the Eurobricks staff launched the Minifig Customization Workshop. It was based on the idea of giving the deserved space and visibility to all those creations (decals, molds, texture works and so on) that we call ‘customs’, a way to open a new, more personal, view on the LEGO universe. Now, more than one year later, this baby forum is a proven success: just look at the huge amount of very high quality contributions that our members produce and post daily.

Because of this, the Minifig Customization Workshop has recently undergone a series of changes and updates in order to gather and arrange these creations in an organic form. The result is now visible to everybody: the renewed Minifig Customization Index is full of guides, tutorials, designs and, in one word, all the resources it takes to make a good custom. More important, the Index is the sum of the work of all the EB members who dedicate their time to the wonderful job of giving birth to a new piece (be it a design, a mold or anything).

More things will come in the near future, so go to the Minifig Customization Workshop, and join the fun!

Half a year ago "The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy" was born

    Bonaparte
    By Bonaparte,

    ra_lg.gif

Exactly half a year ago the Eurobricks staff launched a project called "The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy". As the concept was new, we had no idea how it would turn out. Now, 6 months later, it is clear the academy is a huge success just by looking at that large amounts of very high quality Lego set reviews which our members are producing and posting on our boards daily. Since it's launch, the academy received 137 students while it's being managed by a team of 15 teachers.

In the academy, some of our finest Lego set reviewers are teaching Eurobricks members the secrets of making a superior LEGO set review. Under their supervision, members learn the tricks of effective photography, picture manipulation, and the secrets of presenting an interesting and informative review.

Interested in joining? Go here and find out what the academy is all about!
