Vedauwoo Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 (edited) Our LUG (CoWLUG....or Colorado and Wyoming LUG) participates in a yearly model railroad display and sale event called "Rails in the Rockies" (12-14 February 2016) held in Estes Park, Colorado.....this year, our theme was "Islands" with ships and sea creatures on the rails as the actual "trains." My display was originally going to be a "Ninja Island," but with all the builds I had done already for BoBS, I decided a "Ninja/Pirate" island was better! So.....with out further delay....the Sea Rats at 7500 feet! BoBS at Rails in the Rockies by Christopher Briggs, on Flickr The Glassblower's Shop got an actual entrance and roof..... dr_spock Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 So that is what the COW in COWLUG stands for. Our LUG was wondering when we saw the name on a LUG list. We thought they like cows. Very nice display. Pirates and trains, can't go wrong with that combo. Quote
Captain Genaro Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Looks like a great display, and I'm glad it was well received. No doubt, all the fun details helped. It's really nice to see all your builds together to create a busy town and harbor scene. Quote
CelesAurivern Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Nice colony set up there. The ships look somewhat familiar :) Quote
Captain Dee Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Your arrangements just keep looking better. I'm really liking that ship... Quote
