Darth Yogi Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 (edited) Theme-Star Wars Character- Paploo the Ewok Cost-Roughly $2-3 I used a brown brickarms mono-pod on Paploo's staff The story of little Willy. Little Willy lived in a poor family and had the dreams of coming a super star. This was very unlikely since Willy's mom was a gas station attendant and his dad was a hunter. One day while Willy was at a friends he saw Star Wars. This was a new beginning for Willy, now he didn't only know he wanted to be a super star, he knew he wanted to Paploo the mighty ewok warrior. He went home and asked his dad for a deer pelt and he went to work. He worked for 3 days straight and when he was done he came out with a home made suit, his own Paploo suit. He then changed from Little Willy to Regular sized paploo. From that day forth he never took off his suit that made him who he had become. Present day Paploo's Teacher Mr. Smith: good morning class now today we will be presenting our show and tells. Paploo's class: Yes Mr. Smith! Mr. Smith: Jessica will you go firt. Jessica: I guess so, I brought this, umm...Ummm(felling around in her pockets for something to save her)nothing sir. Mr. Smith: Willy would you like to go. Paploo: Yes Mr. Smith but call me Paploo . So today I will be telling you the origins of how I became such a great warrior. Once upon a time while I was living on Endor there was a great Dulok and I fought him off and............ prateek Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Very nice! The clay job is very clean, and I like the hole for the face. I'd add a strap on nose for authenticity Quote
Big Cam Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I'm not crazy about the regular LEGO face, but the molding is rather nice Quote
Sam Vimes Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 If this was for the cosplay contest, then you did a great job and how many people have entered this anyway. Quote
Darth Yogi Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 If this was for the cosplay contest, then you did a great job and how many people have entered this anyway. Thank you all, and I believe I am the 3rd to enter but there is still 20 days before the end. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 (edited) Nicely done darth yogi! I actually like the open face, it makes the cosplayer amateurish and realistic at the same time! Best of luck in the contest my friend! Thank you all, and I believe I am the 3rd to enter but there is still 20 days before the end. I think you're the second one, next to The Penguin. I think I'd be the third participant by tomorrow. Edited October 2, 2010 by KielDaMan Quote

Masked Builder Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 That's funny! The work on the Ewok is quite smooth. Quote
The Penguin Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 A very fine entry, darth yogi! ) perhaps, you would wish to correct several spelling mistakes, but overall the plot and the figure are very well built, so to say! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote
