tin7_creations Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 (edited) Hi everyone! These are the newest additions to my Harry Potter minifigure collection! This time I customized members of the Order of the Phoenix. Anyways, here's the new stuff for November 12, 2010. Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody (Brendan Gleeson) Nothing special on this fig. I added a trench coat and switched the leg positions. Nymphadora Tonks (Natalia Tena) The torso design for Tonks was taken straight from the movie, and her hair was painted dark pink. Kingsley Shacklebolt (George Harris) Once again based entirely off the movie. The hat is hand made from Sculpey, and the head is just the Seso head from Prince of Persia. Horace Slughorn (Jim Broadbent) The hairpiece is made of Sculpey, and the face and torso decals are my own design. Hope everyone enjoyed this new post! Comments much appreciated! Any ideas on what Harry Potter minifigs I should make next? CMP Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) Kingsley is my favorite, but all of them look great! Moody should have a darker color of coat though, perhaps dark brown or gray. But still, he looks good. Who to do next? Hmm...perhaps a more accurate Remus Lupin, or a Rufus Scrimgeour, or Cornelious Fudge. Edited November 13, 2010 by CallMePie Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I love these as always! I like Moody among this batch, Kingsley looks good too! Keep it up tin7! Quote
Aanchir Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 They're all wonderful, but the Moody bothers me because he's wearing a cloth jacket over his already-printed jacket. Is there any way you could crease the cloth one so it fits more snugly and covers up the printed one? Not sure if you want to do that, but I feel it would be a great improvement. Also, I think his jacket should be dark gray, just like the printed one. It seems to match the photograph you provided a lot better. Kingsley Shacklebolt's definitely my favorite of the bunch, just because his outfit is so colorful and appealing. The others are just as accurate to the movie depictions, though. Quote
prateek Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Kingsley is the best of this batch hands down. Awesome job as usual Quote
Little Brick Man Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I would like to see Firanze or Bane the centaurs. Ho ho ho. Quote
CommanderFox Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I'd have to go with the everyone about Kingsley being the best. Who to do next? Hmm...perhaps a more accurate Remus Lupin, or a Rufus Scrimgeour, or Cornelious Fudge. Yeah I reckon Rufus would be really cool and Fudge aswell. Also as Little Brick Man said, some of the centaurs would be cool, especially with the new BrickForge centaur piece. Looking forward to more Tin7! CF Quote
Sam Vimes Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Hey Could you do some Death Eaters next. Quote
Lord Embo Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Could you add Remus Lupin to that as well?(one that is more accurate than TLG's effort) My suggestion for your next batch of Harry Potter minifigures is minifigs that were only released in yellow besides Lockhart as you have already done him. For example, Tom Riddle would be nice and wouldn't really be too hard to do when you think about it. Others like that are Crabbe, Goyle and Quirrell. I'm not sure of any others though. Big Cam Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Moody is my favorite. I love that face. You have a nack for making some awesome decals. Quote
Lord Embo Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 How does one make decals? I want to make flesh replications of Quirrell and Lockhart, but I don't know how to make decals and can't find any existing heads that are suitable. Lord Embo Quote

Lord Embo In this section of the forum you can find some useful tutorials (scroll down to section II) about customisation, including one on making decals in MSPaint (it's basic for torsos, but it works more or less the same for heads). It All Ends Here Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 They are wonderful! I love Slughorn. One thing I don't like is the face of Tonks it looks a bit old but that is it. Quote
Tommy J. Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 All of them look wonderful, nicely done I like Kingsley and Moody the best. Quote
Lord Embo Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I must agree with everyone who has said that Kingsley's figure is the best; he just really caught my eye as being the most colourful and probably the most difficult to create decals for. Good work as always tin7. Lord Embo Quote
