Sariel Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) Thanks Paul. I hope you'll like the video too - just make sure you view it in HD. And yes, it's based on the Mark II. The description at my website will follow tomorrow, I just need time to finish it. Edited January 16, 2012 by Sariel Quote

jadedomg Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Absolutly amazing :) another top notch model Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Wow....very nice! He did a great job building the body out of studless parts. Quote
Paul Boratko Posted January 17, 2012 Author Posted January 17, 2012 I am going to get a Mod to edit the thread title... I also added the video... I am sure that you would have liked to have created the Thread yourself, but probably don't mind that someone else respected the model enough to do it for you... Quote
Sariel Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Sure, I can live with that :) But I should mention that your amazing line of studless supercars was a serious motivation for me to try to build something on my own! Quote
Paul Boratko Posted January 17, 2012 Author Posted January 17, 2012 This is the first all studless body that you did huh...? You did an absolutely fantastic job... Quote
Sariel Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 (edited) Thank you. As far as new panels go, it's my second try after my Jeep Wrangler, but that was small and from completely different category of cars :) I believe it can be actually less advanced than your Vampire GT. Blakbird Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Thank you. As far as new panels go, it's my second try after my Jeep Wrangler, but that was small and from completely different category of cars :) I believe it can be actually less advanced than your Vampire GT. A truly stunning machine. Having built another car which uses those Silver Champion tires (Nathanael Kuipers' Supercar), I think I can appreciate how huge this is. It is MUCH larger than the "standard" scale like 8070. I don't think it would fit on my shelf, but that wouldn't stop me. I hereby officially invite you to come visit me at my home, but please remember to bring this model. Quote
bord4kop Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Stunning, really stunning! The looks, the works, but the looks mostly.. Outstanding   Quote
Sariel Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 I hereby officially invite you to come visit me at my home, but please remember to bring this model. I've just seen the photos of your collection - are you sure this is your home and not Heaven? :) Quote
jorgeopesi Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 (edited) With the real gt-40 doors would be better, good idea on the rear wheels for not to use links . Edited January 17, 2012 by jorgeopesi Quote
phool Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 (edited) Amazing work again Sariel! The production of your video is by far your best work yet. I've been following progress of your build on Facebook and the results certainly have not disappointed. I also quite enjoyed the fact that the functions of the car are quite unique when compared to the other supercar builders (no disrespect to these other great builders). I would love to see a blue version of this with the racing stripes. Edited January 17, 2012 by phool Quote
