Hooray !

What with this torture fetish you do have ? I don't think it's good to be true. With the late involvment of the ambassadors' advice on the new line, we've seen how great things can turn out !

For all that want to come to next years event, but cant...

The may date is always slightly annoying for many people, arranging for others. Shall we debate when the event will be hold first ? -
Excellent work ! This MOC has the flavour of a late 18 century building. Beautfully detailed ! The fact that the pony is using you as a "horse" is just so funny Are those tracks a hint at an upcoming tramway ?

As I fell back into castle, I couldn't resist to add a little bit of a Fabuland taste inside. Here is a Fabuland Serenade. The Walrus king is deeply in love with the noble cat. He decides to offer her all the tresures he got, but he soon realized that only a little something to eat would do the trick... This MOC is based on a modular medieval city concept. Thanks to Hinckley for 2 of the 3 fabuland figs !

While waiting for the castle version, here is the city one in detail ! A find by Zeki

I think we all had our nirvana period, but after some time (and probably listening to the songs gazilion times), it doesn't have any more effect upon me. Weird. I guess nirvana is talking more to people when they're teenagers who have a rebelion feeling about everything.

English was obvious. It's the most taught second language in Europe, and is really easy to learn. Also, when I gathered with the different European at the time to create EB, we all spoke english. Now english has its downside. We're regulary invaded by american kids who obviously don't have anything to do here, but I guess that's a side effect, and the small price to pay for being able to share your hobby worldwide. As for French, there's already a french lego community, let's not step on their territory Side note : Chiness and Indian aren't the most spoken languages. In fact people there use dialects which are completely different from region to another. So the number of people speaking the SAME chiness doesn't seem to be equaling the number of people speaking english.

Highly interesting, I always wondered too. I'm moving this to the embassy since an answer could come from our ambassador (or he can ask if he doesn't know)

Those micro events are always the best ! Seems like your modular building project got quite some attention

Is it possible to have the design file for 300 though ? I for one have a way to get professional transfers and I'd kill to have one with this printed

Need...one... No wait, two, they're supposed to go by pair What was the use of them in fabuland sets though ? Was there a fabuland drum of some sort ? Opps, after a quicksearch, found it !
-
Nice mocs, I especially like how you rendered the horse legs effect on your characters, very clever !
-
Purely excellent. How did you do those drum sticks ? One minor improvment would be to work on the left guitar. No idea how though, making lego guitars is a nightmare in general.

I am a proud owner of this set. Like others, I got it discounted and couldn't resit the parts pack. This is the type of lego sets that bothers me. When you look at it now, you'd be tempted to say "hey not bad", but at the same time, some years ago, it wasn't good enough to buy it full price. I was kinda disappointed because usually sets using that kinda baseplates are excellent (castle, paradisa), and this one is just "ok". One really minus point would be the lack of any opponent faction in the set

And they have girls who present the works like in those cars shows. This event seemed quite big. I'm not that impressed technically speaking by the stadium, though. The pool is fantastic, they just made an awesome job with the lights

You reached the skills of the previous master of wild west, brickminer I just love that cow in the background, nice touch ! -
To be honest, there is a serious lack in term of visual. First, you take large shots which do show your appartement : no one gives a damn about the colour of your blanket. Then, you're using too many colors when you're writting, and more important colors that don't match : yellow and red for instance are a definite no. Photography : don't take the shot at a short distance of your minifigs with your flash on ! It gives you the first picture : everything is white ! Use daylight instead of a flash. While taking pictures at a short distance, use the "flower" option which will ensure less blurryness.

I made a website about European afols. Silly idea, huh? Never read them before, you got me addicted

The different prices on LEGO in the US vs. Europe
Jipay replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Translation of the whole answer : Europe = Cash cow On the positive side, they're being honest. Now the second adressed question should be : "What are your plans to change this situation in the near future ?" -
I don't understand the comments about building in the game and such : we don't see any image of the game being played. Or I missed another vid

Number one for me, it fits the driver better (=mechanic)
