The real question would be : how good a builder your boyfriend is ? If he's a good builder, he shall not get much trouble switching from the XL motor to the one in the set you're poiting at. If he needs the exact building instructions to complete a set, then you should follow the indications of the website.

Well the 18 rule has many advantages. It was first introduced because of some MOCs that were posted here, and then we had dozens of US kids screaming because they were offended. Screw offended US kids. I thought we had this problem because of the US kids being the only ones to be able to browse an english website, but I was then proved wrong by really mature UK teenagers. So it was more of a cultural gap between some kids been offended (and then showing naked on some spring break dvd some years later), and some being more pragmatic about touchy MOCs. As we're targeted as a European community, the rule came naturaly as a way of informing the viewer that some 18+ (legal adult age in most european countries) MOCs could be posted. No problem since that was done. Kids already have gazillion forums to pollute on the net, let's not add this one to the list.

Here is my entry for staff PTV II contest. The story : Half way through the building process of an imperial lighthouse, the old soldier faction had to be replaced by a new, fresh garnison. But soon, the shift had gone wrong, with the old smiling soldiers refusing to give up their building. All this could only be profitable for the pirates, who didn't care who was new and who was old. Pirates are all mates, whatever the age is !

Really nice MOC Brickster ! The 2D images don't do it justice. The video just show how great of a set this could be, if ever produced. Your MOCs keep getting better and better !

Well, if this was my game, I'd not have picked you up because of the gazillion "report this post to a mod" I got from you. But that's just my advice. And probably the one of the admins who posted in the 5 pages topic about you in our non existing admin forum I can't tell for them though. My two cents : relax. Eurobricks is a place to enjoy. If you start being negative and annoyed, or even stressed by browing and posting on a forum, maybe breathing some fresh air outside with your real life friends is a good thing to do

Great episode ! Some lines made me laugh a lot ! As Copmike, I had a hard time placing all the characters back together. I think I'll need one or two more episodes to fix this. Really good work, as always !

I almost wet my pants seing you guys thinking this toyota would be powered by a V8 engine. This car is a collaboration between subaru and toyota, it's powered by Subaru's 2.0-litre boxer engine, which puts out 146bhp in current production form. 146 bhp. What a blast. Some fords are more powerfull. It seems they'll upgrade the engine a bit for this coupe, but let's be realistic, you can't get much more than 250 bhp from a 2.0 litres four pots engine. Still excited ?

*Jumping into the band wagon* My current ones : Ibanez sabre Fender jagstang (original, not the reedition) Fender jaguar 62 + some others around. My favorite is the jagstang, followed by the jaguar as a close second. Sadly I don't have much time to play lately.

Well you can surely get them all via torrent, but itunes is a legal thing. You're paying for each episode you're downloading, but to me they're worth it.

You can get the old seasons (11 & 12) to download on itunes. As for the new season, it's supposely mid November, which explains the lack of news on their website lately. Also note that mister Clarckson's new DVD is out, and looks a lot like a giant top gear episode. I also "have to" download the episodes, as we can't get UK channels here. There might be a possibility this year though, in which case I could stop downloading it and just watch it on TV. I'll never thank topgear (and especially Jezza) enough, they made me the petrolhead I am now

They can't ban 4WD vehicules, but they surely can limit the heigh of vehicules. It's a common practice in most european countries. And since most W4D are are big tall vehicules, they can't park.
