Thanks for reviewing this great old set.
I've added it to the index and since you seem to have a few of these fine old sets, may I suggest entering the Reviewers Academy and thus get some ideas for how to do spectacular reviews of such great sets?
Thanks Guss.
I've got this one myself and it's a nice addition to one's army.
For the past weeks this has been on sale on S@H, but I checked a few days ago and now they're sold-out.
A fine army builder with a glued white baseplate
I am clearly an Original Trilogy fan.
I can live with the Clone Wars animated style and even the EP I-II-III are acceptable, except for JarJar Binks
But for the heck of it, I can't see why Expanded Universe ever was invented.
In my opinion the sets are non-Star Wars oriented.
C'mon people a Tie Crawler and some black spaceship called Rogue Shadow doesn't have diddely-squid to do with the great Star Wars universe. It's a crappy spin-off that mocks the Original Story.
I'll add a poll for this.
8038 Endor Battle Playset.
Perhaps the rumored Millenium Falcon is an anniversary set with an oversized mini MF.
Some kind of twisted mix betweeen mini and UCS?
Again we'll have to wait for pictures to surface and find their way here.
Later today seems to have come around a little late.
No matter - I've indexed this.
Thanks pr0visorak.
I've got this set, but can't seem to perusade myself to open the crisp polybag just to build it.
Perhaps I've been contained by the MISB fever...I've already got the UCS MF and new DS just sitting there MISB..
I put them in sealed bags and store them in my attic for that bright future when I move from the appartment into a house with a basement to put my entire SW collection on display.
I'll post pics in 5 or 6 years when that happens
Non SW sets are sorted and used for MOCs and such.
Hmpf
Since Provisorak seems to have forgotten, I've found the link in another topic where he didn't forget to post it
Tadaaa!
The Light Sabre Tutorial is >here<
That's a pretty cool collection of minis you've done there.
Perhaps you could post some more pics here?
The overview pics in the first post are a little "small" to look at.
(yes I am aware of the flickr link, I just get "lost" when viewing pictures in flickr )
Thanks for the elaborate and great review on this set.
Mine is still standing MISB, awaiting that I get around to building it.
(Along with the UCS ISD and UCS MF).
Having a kid really "steals" precious build time.
Great work pedro.
I like it
Simple, yet a perfect design for this small walker.
I'm not sure I'll prefer this over the Clone Scout Walker.
Perhaps an army of CSW's and this would look awesome.
How about posting an inventory for the lazy ones of us, who'd like to build this beaty themselves.
