  1. Absolutely stunning work. I can't wait for your BS-folder to go public, so that I can study all those neat little details. Thanks for sharing it with us
  2. Great work Dan. I like the details above the door. Those little greeble details really add a great finish to your MOC.
  3. By all means do post it here. We can easily make this index into more than just instructions. How about "Star Wars Instructions & Tutorials"?
  4. Agreed. We've been given the supposed set# through the continuos flow of rumours. But we've had close to nothing on either the Pirate Tank or the Solair Sailor. Perhaps they were skipped...perhaps not. We'll just have to wait and see, wont we
  5. I couldn't agree more with you. Regular technic bricks, not the odd non-stud ones. And of course the technic construction in a system set should be camouflaged - it is a system AT-AT and not the technic AT-AT. - Excessive use of technic in some Castle and Vikings sets is a little too much I agree. But the cool launhcer in the Viking theme wouldn't be cool and awesome without that overuse of technic parts and the odd spring-seat from the Sport theme sets.
  6. What tank? The pirate tank? Or the AAT - because then we already know

    The H-Wing

Awesome update. Somehow it looks "better" when dressed in red. I still like the lime version, but I'd prefer your updated anytime.
  8. I find it strange that they would add a speeder to the AAT set. As OWK said, we haven't seen pics of such a thing. So I highly doubt it. Thanks for the links, it's always good to have a zoom-feature when looking at pictures.
  9. Wow. Nice work there. I'll surely add this to the MOC index when I get a little more than 3 minutes on my hands. Thanks for sharing.
  10. Keep up that attitude guys and I'll make sure you'll be in a dark dark place within long Of course you can post pics here. All we request/ask is that the size is no more than 800x600 pixels. If you're unsure of how to resize then just follow the link in my signature below, that should lead you to a place where you can find answers on how to resize. And please ignore the moronic comments in the first two replies to your question.
  11. Ok we wont It does look like him on one of the pens, though. Nevermind, I've never bought any of those previously and I'm quite sure I wont be starting now.
  12. I think that between Sinner's lovely walkthrough on LEGO design and def's fine modification we've got a fine solution. You (the EB members) can now freely choose between MOD'ing or living with your LEGO design as is. The latter is my choice and I'd stick with the "tough titties" on this one. And yes, this is one of the most swooshable fighters given to us in a loooong time.
  13. As mentioned in the 2008 Picture thread, this set is apparantly available. Could someone get me a few and a few V19's? Please pm me instead of replying here. Thanks in advance. And this is the other than the V19 that I'd like:
  14. Now that looks great. I think I'm the one to decide when to stay on topic or not. And since we're still in 2008, I'll allow newly released 2008 sets to be discussed.
  15. It's no problem. I was once new to this place and "how-to"
  16. I really couldn't care less. I haven't seen the animated whatever movie and probably wont. (Not Star Wars in my opinion, at least no more than that crappy kiddy movie on some kids getting lost on Endor) It's just a cool set. Perhaps someone who did see the movie could tell us? PS And I don't do slicing, I just hire bountyhunters
  17. That's a great fighting arena. I like the simplicity of it. One could say that the arena itself is a little small But I actually think it's perfect. It fits the size of a module and it's obvious what's going on - the wizard is clearly cheating - enchanting his personal favourite with combat spells
  18. That's a nice collection of troops and castles you've got there. May I suggest checking the tutorial link below in my signature on how to resize pics? They're a little large, but you're new, so I don't think you've been told before. The general rule is: Pics posted or deeplinked are to be no bigger than 800x600 maximum. Thanks for sharing your army with us
  19. You lost me. What do you mean? That the new version contains technic parts? or that people complained and we got a new version with less technic parts (which it hasn't). Please explain or
  20. Why would you call that a flaw? They're all like that - so it's as it's supposed to be. Actually I like that it's a little tilted - in my opinion not all fighters need to stand vertically in balance when "parked", why should they? They're not cars, so it doesn't really matter for take off, does it?

    The H-Wing

Nice MOC as usual Rook. I've added it to the index. A great design with some fine greeble and details. Not sure wether I like the lime parts or not...they look kinda odd, but still I can't imagine it without them. A confusing comment, I know. Perhaps I should come back when I've made up my mind on them.
  22. 5373 Instructions 5372 Instructions There you go.
  23. Oh boy have I heard that a lot of times. No offense, but a lot of people claim to either work for or knowing a superimportant LEGO employee and thus they know every secret within the TLG. Sorry but as stated on FBTB in that particular thread, such comments and claims just don't cut it. The list may or may not be true, but it certainly hasn't been confirmed by TLG. Give me box pics which aren't preliminary or a press release from TLG with the set names and numbers and then I'll move them from the "unconfirmed" list.
  24. Nice work. I think I'll move this to the "Minifig Customization Workshop". You'll get much more feedback there on your designs Thanks for sharing.
  25. Confirmed by TLG? That's what confirmed means - that TLG has confirmed the sets.
