  1. Yeah. This IS the way to build castles. A lot of modules that can be connected. Man it brings back memories. :'-) KimT
  2. Hey Morten. What does "Dansih" mean? X-D KimT
  3. After testing here's the review: The Racer: The neon green colour pushed me off at first, but after seeing the finished racer I find it kinda cool. It adds a aggresive look to a seriously dangerous racer *wub* One could buy the colour scheme kits for the dirt crusher RC that would fit neatly and allow a change to either red, blue or regular green. :-) Here's a few pics of the racer that the instructions suggest: and a top view pic: After being persuaded to take the racer out of the appartment :-| (I did hit my girlfriend, her friend, the table, a chair and a portable pc that flipped over) I took it downstairs and tested it outside and *wub* *wub* *wub* *wub* it ROCKED. It has 3 different gears. I have nothing much to say about the first two gears - they were shortly tested and then I rammed it into 3rd gear and let it RIP. And it was awesome, it ran so fast I had trouble controlling it X-D . The backyard allowed me to test this baby on pavement and on grass and it worked pretty well on both. The wheels went into a spin when shifting from reverse to forward and vice versa :-D Unfortunately after pushing the racer hard for 15 minutes or so, it started showing wear *n* The control range vastly decreased ending up with the car not being able to move after some 20 minutes |-/ I hope this is only because it was the first run on a newly charged rechargeable battery :-/ But battery packs can be bought via S@H or on Bricklink for 16USD. I am recharging the battery and will post if the durability changes. [to be continued] VERDICT: The new racers has a rechargeable battery *y* It runs around 22 km/h *y* It can be modified by either kits or other RC *y* It seems to only run for 15-20 minutes *n* The retail price is insanely high *n* The box does not allow storing when not used *n* The racer is hilarious and allows hours of fun *y* It works in rain, dirt and sunny weather *y* The RC control has 3 channels - fight your friends *y* All in all I'll give it an 8/10 score due to the simple fact that the batteries might have a short durability and this requires extra batteries >:-( If You find it cheaper than retail BUY IT! KimT RACE ON! PS: I'm so gonna bring this to the next event. Then we could buy some Belville or Scala at LET IT RIP X-D
  4. I'll try to get rid of the neon green by using parts from the Red Beast RC. And yeah I tested this baby in Legoland and it goes really fast and it hurts like nothing else to be hit by it :-/ KimT BTW brake or break? If I don't brake indoors I'm surely going to break something :-P ;-)
  5. Hey! Most of us working people have to know dates and stuff pretty soon in order to get a day or two off from work. Is there any news on the EB Event 2007 Germany? I'm sure that Rick and Steve will both be there *y* *y* KimT [awaiting further infos impatiently]
  6. Yeah I know. Now the Sentai Fortress and the Outdoor Challenger are part of my evergrowing collection KimT [bTW No t-shirts though ;-) ]
  7. Earlier this morning I went to Bilka [big discount chain] and they had a 40% off on all LEGO. I bought the 7709 Sentai Fortress and 8675 Outdoor Challenger RC. The new RC has the following: a top speed at 22 km/h outdoor durability and a flashy neon green look :-X For now I've taken some pictures to start the review off. First the box and packing of the set: and it even has a promising feature. It can be closed again: But unfortunately TLC decided that noone would ever store their LEGO RC and therefore they used the sorry cardboard boxes to pack the set in. After unpacking there's no chance in H*** that You'll ever pack it back. |-/ This is it so far. A teaser on what to come. When I've charged the batteries and build the models I'll return with a full review. KimT
  8. Great MOC. I remember those movies as hilarious :-D BTW: check his entire gallery - the farm is truly MAGNIFICENT *wub* *wub* KimT
  9. Striking Venom Hero Defense Tank at 25% off *y* Man this is an expensive month for me already.... KimT
  10. Been there, done that and got the t-shirt [or at least the Hero Defense Tank and Striking Venom] KimT
  11. My guess is that Morten started around 1999 when a friend of his introduced him to SW LEGO :-P ;-) KimT
  12. Thanks Sne for a superb review. I think You've perfectly grasped what the USS Constellation set is all about. KimT [it's not what you see - it's what you feel]
  13. 6257 Castaways' Raft (1989) 6266 Cannon Cove (1993) 7124 Flash Speeder (2000) 7106 Droid Escape (2001) 7103 Jedi Duel (2002) and also I've bought a AT-ST UCS via Morten, and it's sittings in his basement until we can plan a "get-down" X-D Buy On! KimT
  14. Jinzo says it all. KimT X-D
  15. Awesome work Sne *y* *y* I really like that You've succeeded in putting in a lot of "action" in every pic there's something to look at for a long time. So many well-thought details *wub* *wub* You must have a massive army of those pods by now. Do You keep them assembled or do You take them apart? If You keep them, is it possible that You could post a pic with the entire "Pod Army"? Keep it up! Perhaps a dining hall or quarters or even a training ground could be an idea for
  16. I still check just about every toy-shop or discount store I pass. For me there is no "what I don't buy today - I'll buy tomorrow". As for the fanatical touch - I still feel it. Though only concerning SW, but it has always been like that. I think it's just the way we are fanatic about it that changes over time. Just as the feel of a new car that You compare our joint passion to. Brick On! KimT
  17. The amount of money I spend on LEGO has seriously dropped the past year. The reason is very simple: I owe around a million Danish Crownes (roughly 125000 Euros) to the bank for the appartment I live in with my girlfriend. So a lot of my monthly income goes to the bank |-/ Also I don't have much space for my LEGO = not much room to MOC. But I try the best I can. The past 6-7 years I've been expanding my collecton hard, so now I have "enough" bricks to MOC, therefore I don't feel the need to buy every good deal that comes around. But I don't think I'm stepping into a dark age, it's just a new level of my hobby. Now the shopping is directed against a few themes and specific bricks for MOCs. Though I'm pretty sure it'll all change around February. And Morten is always there to feed my addiction and making me buy new sets and so on. *y* KimT
  18. As it says: Aredhel KimT :-)

  20. 7155 Trade Federation AAT *sweet* KimT
  21. I have to disagree. The one from the thread is much better. KimT
  22. The Highway enforcer definately has "swooshability" *wub* *y* I'd say that it's the BEST small racer set so far. Grrreat review. Share the fun! KimT
  23. Ahem! Haven't You already posted this in the "Buy, sell and trade section", where it's supposed to be :-| . It's not the best idea in the world to start one's first posts trying to sell all over the forum. Primary function: conversation on LEGO and having fun Secondary function: selling or trading sets between people that share a common interest. Keep smiling! ;-) KimT
  24. Only one thing to say *skull* ROFL KimT
