Including X-Mas is not a rule - we've said that it's X-Mas and as such it should be included. But reading through the rules it does NOT state that you have to. So it's all good.

Why? I totally get the "I'm in a LEGOworld"-impression when looking at this picture. This is what the contest is about - not building a vignette around it. Nice work Masked Builder - that reflection is an awesome shot.

Yeah, but at least we can see that we get the podracers, darthomir speeder and Darth Maul's Infiltrator. The MF looks good as well. The Republic Frigate looks like... well a classic TLG version of frigates As for the figs - I'd say it's a little early to speculate from blurry prelims.

Why should TLG release a non-playset? It's LEGO... And since we're sure it's neither UCS or midi-scaled then it's a playset for sure.

Personally I'd go for that one instead of the one you posted. Feel free to change the picture in the first post if you want to. The contest runs until the 31st of December and you may replace and edit your entry as many times you want until then. That Throne Room shot is waaaaauw But that's just my opinion.

Why do you ask? He must have overlooked that it was already posted. A frigate that looks like it's build on the base of the Venator set. A crossbreed of the Tantive IV and Venator can't be good. I sense that we'll be seeing loads of prelims shortly - so bear in mind not to upload them to EB's server and please no deeplinking them either as that would shove them in our cache and that's not good at all
