You did notice that this MOC was posted on January 29th 2009? Which kinda makes your comment more or less useless as this MOC probably ins't build anymore. Guys please consider why you'd bump/revive an old topic. There's no rule against reviving topics in the Star Wars Forum, but we do ask that you think hard about why you'd do so and if it's really really neccesary.

Check the Star Wars Forum Index for "Q's & A's on tutorials, scans and instructions" plus topics related to "The Quest for R2D2" and "Malevolence" - I'm sure you'll find the background that way. To put it short: TLG made an online game which gave you access to those 4 instruction parts upon completing the game with 4 different characters.

I know the official release of the January wave in Denmark and Germany is the 16th or 18th of December. It's allowed and probably to make more money on Christmas sales.

Probably because they're "Special Edition" meaning TRU Exclusives in the US and other toystore chains around the world. That could be the reason, plus I think we might not see them released until February or March unlike the January wave which will be prematurely released in December (as usual ).
