If you compare to those who doesn't, then yes. Advantages are everywhere. If you have a zillion bricks, then the odds are that you'll do better than if you only have ten, wouldn't you say? What's your point?
-
Perhaps. From what I've learned TLG has to adjust release dates to ensure that the factory can keep up with the demand. Or something like that. Plus "premature" release create hype and allow them to adjust the amount of sets to be produced in accordance with the sales of the individual sets during that early release. A smart way to avoid the TIE Crawler incident again That set never sold even close to a little here.
-
Sorry, but that's not true. Release dates (months) depend on where you live in the world. It's been JAN and AUG for ages, but it's actually much more complicated than that.

Perhaps the Geonosis and Endor sets aren't BP's, but sets like the Naboo Battle Droid Carrier set from the January wave? And no, I did not hint at getting a Geonosis set, I merely said: "Who says we're not getting a Geonosis set?" - there is a slight difference, eventhough it's tiny 7956 The Endor Battle Pack 7957 Geonosis Battle Pack 7959 Geonosian Starfighter TM 7961 Sith Infiltrator TM 7962 Anakin's and Sebulba's Podracers 7964 Republic Frigate TM Getting those would be awesome

Yeah, but I'm sure you'll come up with something good

Poor and lame way to introduce yourself. Let me help you a little and edit the title of this topic.

Thanks Oky. I'll be updating this topic soon.

@commanderneyo - here's my proposal: This topic stays as the "Wanted Star Wars Characters" and the vehicle topic gets merged with the "Future Star Wars Sets" That way we'll have one for sets/vehicles and one for characters. Does that sound fair?
-
Same issue as the other topic. If this is merely a round-up of several lists of the top 4 characters, then why make a topic on it instead of just posting it in the "Future Star Wars Sets"?
-
I don't get it. You want to have us mention the 2 vehicles we want the most and then you make several lists of your own top 2 vehicles?! Wouldn't that make the point of this topic useless and more suited for the "Future Star Wars Sets"? I'm considering a merge of this topic. Well that IS a problem, given the fact that we already have a topic dedicated to future sets that we want.

I don't think the mandos all had jetpacks. I did actually mostly look at the vehicles, so I'm not sure about the figs we're getting and if their final looks are different from the prelims. I'm more of a generic kinda guy - I really don't care much for characters - at least not OT characters But from what I remember from the prelims, they are the same characters and designs.
-
I think we've seen this more than once, plus making a dedicated topic on a preliminary and confidential catalog is a little over the edge and not very friendly to the maker of our hobby. Link has been removed. I hope you all had the time to have a look
-
I didn't get a good look at the Astromech, sorry about that Female pilot? What? Where?
-
I was at a Factory Tour this week with the Danish LUG - Byggepladen and I managed to get a look at the January 2011 Star Wars sets. They look great in their final boxes - they're quite similar to the prelims we've seen. The T6 has a bunch of sticker though. The figs are all awesome and well done. I really like the Bounty Hunter ship, it's much cooler up close and personal, than I imagined it to be. The mandalorian battle pack is also great and the final torso print is pretty good All 4 mandos are the same though. The V-wing looks really cool and so does Mace Windu's Starfighter - I am soo getting that one. (along with the rest, since I am a collector )

Have you read the review on the set? You could have asked this question there, that would make more sense, wouldn't it? -

I highly doubt it. But since the first post does state that this is an odd topic and gives no further explanaition as to why we should answer the "odd" request, I'll just shut this down instead. Anyone with an answer feel free to pm it to him... As Zorro pointed out, BL often has the measures of boxes, though not in this case. Let's not spam up this place with questions on box sizes
