  1. Anio shares his work since January 2010 with us.An amazing MOC of the Executor. (click the picture to see the whole thing)
  2. Remember these pics are still just preliminary designs - they're bound to have some changes before they go into production. They are (to me) as they should be - very LEGO-like and as usual we (the AFOLs) want more and better designs. Nothing's changed in those years I've been around. Eventhough the designs have clearly improved vastly. I guess all we can do is buy the sets and then modify them into what we really want. I think the preliminary pictures we've seen so far are pretty cool and I'm 100% sure there's more to come, even for the Winter wave. Must be
  3. What a race! A shame that Vettel hit Button and forcing him to retire. Alonso out, Button out and Vettel waaay down in the back really threw the scores up in the air once more. Hamilton and Webber are now fighting to win the WC. Great to see the f-duct on the Renault kick some behind - The Button/Vettel incident gave Kubica his podium. Petrov put the pedal to the metal and fought his way up through the ranks from zero to hero in my opinion. He started at the back and finished in the points - that's driving and doing a helluva job of it. Good race, loads of action and now I can't wait for Italy.
  4. Please refrain from bumpin' old topics if you've got absolutely nothing to add to them.
  5. My bad. HERE you go - the SDCC CW Edition instructions.
  6. Wow.. you lost me there.

A great weekend to you too.

No offense meant and none taken.

  7. I haven't spotted it anywhere yet. So perhaps it's an X-Mas magnet set?
  8. Why all this talk about instructions when I've placed a link in the first post that leads to the scans of the same?
  9. You're more than welcome. You've done a really awesome job on this one If you feel like taking on the CW edition, then I am (still) processing the instructions and the pics of the dudes that I've just done. I'll be uploading them to my flickr later today. Keep it up ILikePi and have one on me
  10. I suggest you just check out the instructios link provided in the first post and then make your own inventory.
  11. Remember that the pics we've seen around the net are all preliminary designs and bound to change before release.
  12. Yeah Jack, I'm talking to you. Slow down and take it easy.
  13. Slow down Sonny. You look like you're on a posting rampage and that wont end good.
  14. I'm aiming at an expanded version of the Yavin IV Diorama that I did for the last LEGOWorld. Something sized at 2x2 baseplates (48x48studs) with two levels - hagar and medal scene. I need loads of tan - but luckily I've already got around 2000+ tan 2x2 tiles. Which I can see that you also have in the vicinity of I can't wait to see where this "ends".
  15. @omot - yeah just shoot me a pm

  16. @wokajablocka: You're welcome.

@Delta407: Really? The same links we've got going in the news topic within the Star Wars Forum? :P

  19. Set Name: Bounty Hunter Edition Theme: Star Wars Sub-Theme: LEGO Cubedudes Parts: 496 Price: 75 USD at Celebration V, much more on Briclink and eBay. Release: Star Wars Celebration V 12th-15th of August 2010 Webpage: Star Wars Celebration Scanned Instructions As soon as I saw this one on eBay I knew I had to click "Buy It Now!" and I'm kinda happy I did. It arrived yesterday and I must say that the seller did a great job at packing it in 2 cardboard boxes with loads of fluffy fillings to keep it from getting smashed. Only 2000 of these were ever made and I'm the lucky owner of box #1277. It's the same sticker as used on the San Diego Comic Con Exclusive Cubedudes set. This time the box is more cool in a dark sense. I like the black design better than the white Clone Wars Edition box It certainly suits a Bounty Hunter Edition to be packed in a black shiny box Let's have a look at the box. No need for words - just lean back and enjoy. This time no parts were taken from the Chinese production, but the rest of TLG's factories have all chipped in. The manual is a pretty nifty little thing. Just like the CW-manual, this one has glossy shadow prints of the Cubedudes in the set. If you need the full manual, then you can find it here And here's a random shot for your viewing pleasure and to give you a general idea of just how many teeny-weeny parts go into each cubedude. Now for the "Dudes" IG88: The build was pretty straight-forward. The guns keep sliding to the sides though and the arms are also coming off waaaay too easily. Right now I'm scared of even looking at him, because if I do so, then his arms fall off and the guns point in random directions Dengar: Awesome, I love the brown/white colour-scheme and his head is extremely well designed. BossK: The head is a super design from Angus but I think he needs a little more yellow - at least when compared to the minifig released by TLG. Boba Fett: King of the Bounty Hunters I love the fact that his gun is brick-built. A great interpretation of Boba Fett. Now all I need is to a copy version to have a Jango Fett next to him. 4-LOM: Freaky guy. One of my favorites in this set. The torso and head are both really well designed Conclusion: What's not to like about this set? IG88 that's who. The arms and rifles are a pain But apart from that this is a winner in my opinion. It's much better than the Clone Wars Edition, but that's probalby because baddies are much more fun than the goodies My advice is "Buy this if You ever get the chance - it's a fun build and the techniques and details are really skillfully done. I think I learned a little bit about alternate use of bricks when building these dudes. Enjoy them, I have

Awesome creation Oky. The name suits it very well - and your photoshop skills add that little extra something in the first picture.
