Thanks for your reply. Actually the pirate forum has often had more staff that the rest of the site combined. (I'm not sure at the moment as we just had a few promotions!) I hope it changes too. For my part, I am not for us doing the reverse to your site. We have always had good relations with with Classic-Castle and it would be a shame to ruin that now. Even so, your links to our site telling kids to go to our site (we are an AFOL site too afterall) and calling us "Cabin boy's" goes way too far. Banning promotion is one thing, childish insults is another.

I agree. I am surprised at their attitude as we have always promoted Classic-Castle competitions, and we have a link to CC on our frontpage. They even have "Eurobricks" in their swear filter... (It changes to "That Euro site".) I don't understand why we deserve such rudeness.

Seems unlikely; they make their feelings towards this site pretty clear.

I love this set... but I doubt that I will buy it. I bought the first chess set and I loved that, but my wife refuses to play chess with me anymore so I've used the minifigs elsewhere. Thus buying another chess set would make no sense, and it's not a good deal for parts alone. Interestingly I preferred the studded design as it enabled me to move the board easily! This set would be too big for my house... It is very nice though. The siege tower is especially cool; thanks for the great review WhiteFang. A smart guy like you should play chess.

We don't know; hence the trial. If they make enough to justify the annoyance then they stay, otherwise they go.
