  1. Do you mean this site? Have you included my poll?
  2. You're smarter than I give you credit for.
  3. I think Mister Phes would steal my bucket if I answered any more questions. But does the box make that big a difference anyway? I've never got the whole box thing. I collect LEGO, not packaging. If I buy a set, I open it, and throw out or flat pack the box. I'd love to have a BSB, but I wouldn't pay one cent more for one that had a box as well.
  4. I'm not a big fan of most animal-headed cartoons so I understand how you feel. I especially find it freaky when a human-like-animal has a pet, like a cat or bird. Miffy is like that; why should a rabbit have a pet dog? Wouldn't the dog be smarter than the rabbit? Why doesn't the dog eat the rabbit? Freeeeeaaaaky!
  5. Err..... no. I personally haven't even checked on ForbiddenCove since I registered. You'll have to wait! No. They are not MISB. One entry per division. (Mister Phes is a tease! )
  6. I like it, but believe it or not, it isn't a favourite theme of mine. I wish it would come back to fill the duplo-LEGO gap, but TLG doesn't seem to like that idea... even though they do feel that there is a market for similar stuff. (Hence Jack Stone.) There isn't much LEGO that I don't love acually... Well I hope you don't think I'm like that; I wouldn't say I love Bionicle, but I certainly don't hate it. Afterall, this guy was my first post Dark Age set... ...and he's still together! It is a transition theme. LEGO decided to do Fabuland instead of adding better Duplo figures. Eventually they changed their mind and made Duplo for older kids, but that didn't stop them trying again with Jack Stone....
  7. Yes. I had the same thought... then I forgot to do it! But now it's done!
  8. Happy birthday all!
  9. Thanks for the great review! I love that new Darth! Mine should be here in a few weeks... I'm looking forward to finding uses for the extra rooms!
  10. ImperialShadows? Yeah... I suppose he's OK.
  11. It's beautiful work; especially the strings! I love the torpedo and the undercarriage as well. You're a very talented man. (The Hood is stunning.... )
  12. Rotta Hutt was kidnapped again by the Asajj Ventress, and was taken to the great fortress of Duplodica. An AT-TE was deployed with Ahsoka to rescue him. The powerful AT-TE had no trouble climbing the small fortress... ...because it's articulated waist enables it to climb almost any angle. With Ahsoka protecting the driver during the ascent... ...the AT-TEs mighty feet stomped it's way up the wall. However it was then that the wall collapsed under the weight... ...leaving the Ventress looking for a way to make her escape yet again. Will she get away? Probably; she does have a whole series to appear in now. Meanwhile, back in reality land... Soon after I bought the 7675 set I felt the urge to articulate it. The way TLG designed the middle just looked like they considered doing it but changed their mind. Thus I decided to try to work with that idea and I built a replacement inside... ...and here it was. Annoyingly it was a failure. Due to the hinge position it tended to fall over really easily and it needed rubber bands to achieve any sort of stability. Additionally, it was hard to make the top as I needed the two halves to overlap. Even though it seemed that I was close, I couldn't make it work well so I decided I was on the wrong track so I scrapped it and made the hinge higher. That worked much better and I was able to achieve my goal of making it look largely like the original model. Obviously it isn't as stable as the standard version, but it is far more pose-able now. I think it looks better too, but it's all a matter of opinion. I'd like to say it's more accurate, but most official pictures of the AT-TE don't match other ones...
  13. Indeed! I think he's cute! I want one now!
  14. Non Lego discussion belongs in community...
  15. I'm closing this.
  16. Happy Birthday from me too! I hope it's a good one.
  17. Thanks! I haven't even heard of any of those! I love this picture at toycorner.com.au. Look at all those 4482 AT-TEs! (Their current price is $699.99 so that must be an old photo... ) I wish I had a store that good in my area.
  18. I'll be looking forward to it. Your reviews are always worth the wait!
  19. I don't know any...
  20. I rarely buy from S@H, partially for this reason. Several times somthing has gone on sale while I am waiting for it to arrive. I only buy there if they sets are half price or exclusive. My last two orders were the Green Grocer and the Death Star... both at the earlier price.
  21. It will be another week or two then... if you are lucky. Sorry.
  22. I think there is a LEGO wharehouse in Victoria... but it seems to only be for retailers. S@H sends Australian orders via Europe; I believe Berkshire Great Britain (UK). Orders tend to take around 3 weeks to arrive here. What shipping do you get?
  23. Oh my. The more I see this set the more I want it. But since I haven't recieved my Death Star yet it'll be a hard sell... I'd prefer the 6 smaller ones than 3 big ones.
  24. Congrats! Are you planning on doing a review?
  25. Yes. I didn't know there were new ones. But before you forget what caused this side point, I repeat that I didn't say that all Lego related Happy Meal toys were not done by TLG, just these ones. Thus I am not proven wrong.... yet.
