Big fan of superheroes. I know Marvel probably has better sets but I prefer DC because of the characters and classic stories. I also like Doctor Who but find it difficult justifying the Cyberman or other Dimensions pack. I stopped collecting Star Wars because I simply couldn't afford to collect them anymore. I miss the Harry Potter line but Star Wars prevented me from getting any of the larger sets

  1. I'm just waiting on my comic Arsenal, Atom, Vixen and Black Lightning They can keep their CW variants, I just want the actual characters. The fact they haven't simply made a Bizarro without his #1 boulder is crazy
  2. If we're going to keep getting repeated/updated variants of the core Bat-Rogues, I hope we at least get some alternate costumes of some of my favourite DC characters- The C-Listers (and Firefly) 1. Killer Moth (Batgirl Year One/Rebirth Attire) 2. Firefly (Knightfall/Pre-Flashpoint grey suit) 3. Condiment King (Mitch Mayo, DCSV costume) 4. Kite-Man (Hell Yeah. Harley Quinn costume) And the wealth of untouched B-List supervillains. The remaining members of the Injustice League (Cluemaster, Big Sir, Multi Man and Major Disaster) would be a dream come true.
  3. Oh, I don't know, I think Lego would jump at the chance to do another movie-verse Batmobile, Batwing and Batcave
  4. I'm afraid to be the bringer of bad news, but Sinestro is regular blue, but the 2016 Nightwing is definitely an azure colour
  5. Yep! I got my series in Fort Kinnaird's Smyths, Edinburgh. Now begins the long wait for the next sets...
  6. Just picked up all 16 from my nearest Smyths! Had a casual conversation with a security guard, but it was worth it
  7. I'm still assuming that, continuing on from the dark grey/black Batmobile, Batwing and Batcycle builds last year, we'll complete the usual set this year with a Batboat and Batcopter in those colours as well. For minifigures, I also see a Rebirth Harley, Rebirth/New 52 Bane, and maybe Penguin to continue last year's collection of mainstay Batman villains. I would love a Rebirth Batgirl though (the grey costume that is) and a Rebirth Killer Moth would fit nicely with her. Would I like a greater variety in sets? Absolutely, but it's also Lego. I'm just glad last year finally gave me an official Firefly
  8. I didn't mention Shazam But, I assume you mean Green Lantern, which is probably fair, I just want characters that would actually use a mech, well, ever (though that didn't stop them with Spidey or Thanos)
  9. I don't doubt DC will produce their own mini-mechs like the Marvel ones, which could actually turn out rather nicely if done properly. The Marvel ones are pretty nice, it's just some fit the characters better than others So what do we think? My guesses would be Batman, Lex and a Green Lantern (with the mech being a construct) and possibly a Joker one thrown into a regular set, like how the Venom one is
  10. That's Joker and Superman up. Just Bat-Mite to go. Strangely enough, Superman is wearing his first Rebirth suit, and not the Reborn one. Not a bad fig though I'm hoping for a more neutral alternate face. Joker is really nice, though I think the legs are just printed for the sake of it. I think the jacket comes down too low, and might just swap them out with standard white ones. A more menacing Joker face is long overdue, though the fig itself is kinda morbid (at least he comes with the cotton candy, and not, say, a batarang or a mug )
  11. Aha! You're quite right! While Simon Hurt *did* drug Batman, Bat-Might himself served as a guide to Bruce in his Zurr En Arrh state
  12. Including when, during the final episode, he went out of his way to cancel the series, so that he could get a darker Batman show, technically "succeeding" with the announcement of Beware the Batman not long afterwards That was a meta episode haha
  13. It just depends. Do you prefer the cheeky little imp with dimension warping powers? Or Batman's drug fuelled hallucination?
