Custom LDD bricks and fixes
PicnicBasketSam replied to Equilibrium's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I'm having the same issue with these pieces not being included in the files. Haven't gone through them all yet, but the only parts I've found with any glitches or connectivity problems are 41594 (can be scaffolded into place on top of a minifig torso, but won't attach directly) 102195 (arms can't move) and 100903, which snaps into place floating some distance above a minifig head. Everything else I've inserted into models so far is working great! -

Could we see 3777, 4986, 5118 and related parts, 5093 and its twin, 5274, 5414 and its twin, 49295, 65202, 76919, 79741, 79896, 79897, 80179, 80566, and flexibility added to 27965 in future updates? -

Tested the new parts out, looking great so far; I was only able to find 2 connectivity problems - nothing can be attached to the antistuds on 5066, and no Technic wheel hub of any kind can be attached to 100943. Part 3803 isn't in the files; that's the one that gets removed when opening the .lxf containing all the new pieces. Finally, there's a serious collision error with 5405, it cannot mesh with the regular Technic knob wheel, defeating the piece's whole reason for existence. -

I've finished thoroughly trying out all the new parts. Here are the errors I've been able to find: - The axle hole on the smaller end of 2142 doesn't accept bar-sized pieces. - 2656 and 3161 can't be placed on top of studs. You can scaffold them into place, but either the piece itself or whatever it's attached to will be deleted upon reloading the file. - Ball joint connections on 3170 can't be attached to any of the appropriate sockets. - Axle holes on 3250 can't accept all axle connections (a normal axle will fit, but a connector like 22961 won't) - Pin holes on 3251 and 90840 won't accept pin connections. - A 2xN plate can't be placed underneath the rounded end of 3263 as intended. - Antistuds on the bottom of 3388 are misaligned slightly. - Both studs and antistuds of 3545 are misaligned significantly. - 57881, 68614, and 80577 can't be placed atop of a minifigure (minidolls are OK) due to collisions with the head, torso, or both. - 77123 has an orange error image displayed in the parts menu and if I place it in the scene it's completely invisible. - 77850 can't be placed on top of hollow studs with a half-plate offset. - The geometry of 80015 has gone haywire, it can be attached as usual but the edges are visibly out of alignment. But if I load a model that included this part previously, anything connected to it gets deleted. -

Thanks for fixing the Mickey Mouse head! These parts look great, I'll see if I can find any issues implementing them into actual models. For the moment I do not see a few parts listed in the update patch notes in the actual files, in what I downloaded earlier, or Github and Dropbox right now: wheel 3486, Technic mudguard 3538, or Darksaber blade 3885. -

Looking through the new parts update, it appears the Mickey Mouse head element (24629) is now corrupted in some way. LDD immediately crashes if I so much as scroll down to it in the parts menu. -

I found some missing connections in the new parts. 78645 can't be placed over a minifigure head, the pin holes in both parts of 77834 won't accept pin connections and axles will only slide in a very short distance, 69754 and 69767 can't fit 1x1 round plates inside (just 1x1 round tiles), and the lights in 22168 can't be placed inside pin holes. -

I have a couple of requests for parts to be modified and added. First, could the rest of these minidoll legs have the hip connector part added to them by means of assembly files, like the two parts on the right side of the image? (Apologies in advance if these have been distributed already and I just somehow missed them.) Second, I notice that a few parts from the new Technic Ferrari Daytona set were added in the latest update, can we expect to see the rest soon? I'd like to have all of them available before I build it, going back and replacing parts inside these massive technic cars is very difficult. For reference, the remaining missing parts are 69761, 69762, 73389, 73398, 80274, 80278, and 80279. -

I just encountered the same thing. The newest version of 65633.xml (a Speed Champions canopy) contains some kind of fatal error, if you revert back to the old one which is still available on the github that takes care of it. -

I just logged on here to note the same exact problem when trying to update the sets using the Stuntz ramp. Per my Brickset records I've got 78 files of official sets containing 69729. Absolutely no way in hell am I going to go back and change 78 broken files because of an arbitrary change to one (1) part! I tried to revert back to the 2021 version that's still hanging around on the development branch of the Github and that broke the part even further, so I've gone back to the current February 2022 version and I'm just not going to open any files that contain it, or create new ones, until this gets sorted out. -

I don't have the new linear actuator, dual-colored wheel, old technic competition arrow, or 2x2 tile without ridges either. The only error I can find with the parts that are here is that the City Stuntz ramp doesn't have proper antistud connectivity on the bottom of the 1x6 plate that sticks out the back, everything else seems to be working fine. -

Finished the 42130. I am a very experienced LDD user, I've built a lot of massive Technic sets, and this took me 6 hours. (One of them was just fiddling with the chain and the last two pieces of bodywork.) LXF File (must have the very newest parts from Stephan's pre release Github directory!) Picture -

Got them, thank you! I'm about 75% of the way done with the bike, I'll try and upload the finished model here later today. The windscreen connects to 2 out of the 4 pins (1 on either side) but the other 2 pins will fit without any trouble, they just don't snap into place. It gets the job done. -

Thanks for the tip on the decorations. However, I just re-downloaded the whole pre-release branch and I'm not finding the wheels or windscreen. -

It worked, thank you! Any chance of the huge new wheels, tires, and front windshield of the 42130 coming soon?
