  1. I was just sad we never got mermaids. ???‍♀️ Wish the replacement for Lego Elves would be... Lego Mermaids! Makes sense, right? A whole underwater theme with minidoll mermaids and mermen (other than Ariel and Alana) and friends-style sea-creatures? And there could even be crossover episodes of the series and sets with the existing Elves. Seems it would totally appeal to the target market, enough to be even more successful than Elves.
  2. Sorry guys, I didn’t push the dealer for details, as I do need my dealers to trust me with this kind of insider info. But my guess is that they will be modern rebuilds, think along the lines of what has happened with so many SW sets that have been re-released. Basically he was discouraging me from buying the older sets at a huge markup (this dealer sells old and new sets) because I could get the same characters and story line for less when the re-releases come in. And the emphasis is that he said that he has already ORDERED the sets, not just heard about them. Probably ordered based on name, price and piece count, to avoid photo leakage (my assumption, I didn’t ask). I don’t know, maybe they will redesign the animation like Netflix did with Elves? Ninjago Macross style?
  3. A major dealer who will remain anonymous has told me that they have seen and ordered the winter sets. There will be major re-releases of S1 and S2 sets, including the Serpentine villains, original dragons, and a Fire Temple re-release. That may be why we’re getting an ice temple, nothing to do with S8 or S9.
  4. If the theme is dying in sales numbers (I hope it’s not) then no amount of marketing can save it. Lego produced a massive marketing push for Nexo.
  5. Greetings from Hong Kong, I haven’t posted in a while. Despite the fact that the Summer 2017 sets were available here before anywhere else, the 2018 sets still aren’t here. ? But as I’ve just moved, I don’t have space for the sets yet anyway, and all my sets are in boxes at the moment.
  6. Have there been no new leaks?
  7. NY toy fair yeah?
  8. I’m not really excited about this wave. What a huge letdown when we were hoping for mermaids.
  9. Do a google search for legoelves-immersion
  10. 2017 no polybags or exclusives except the magazine builds. Three keychains were released: Fledge the purple baby dragon, Naida and Roblin the Goblin.
  11. Ah, that makes sense.
  12. Was I mistaken, or did the Netflix show miss that detail?
  13. Either way it would be awesome if they did. They could have two hairpieces for Emily and Sophie's grandma, one with elf ears and one without.
  14. Hopefully we will get some new fins. So far we've got Ariel's green fin and Alana's pink fin. It would be nice to have some new colours or even a more detailed fin with gold scales, for instance. And some new bikini tops...
  15. I don't have Netflix so I haven't seen it yet, but evidently there are mermaids in Elvendale. We're certain to get some mer-creatures in upcoming sets, yay!
