    Hey, so Ive been looking at Technic recently and I've toyed with most stuff now, but not really pneumatics. Which sets are the ones considered best to start one off with the system? Preferably ones that arent to pricey.

    Anyone seen the new Star Wars “Battle Figures” yet? Ive heard of people in Sydney getting them from force friday, but havent seen them anywhere locally in Vic.

    Is it just me, or is the kindle version not available at the moment? I would have thought they'd release it alongside the physical copy.

    If you look on the inside of the masks, most of them seem to have a little notch designed to sit on the 2 length technic beam of the official design. Obviously this works better in theory than practice. So I guess the "official" design worked better originally, but the masks have since changed slightly?

    The new animation was pretty nice, although I feel like Kopaka was somehow angrier than Tahu. But I'm a bit confused. What was Skull Slicer trying to do with Lewas mask? He kind of just... wore it, and jumped around, laughing. Hopefully they give our villains some more motives later on.

    I seem to recall a few months back on 4chan someone posting about Nekchir being one of the "chir"s (wasn't his name different a few months back?), I never really understood what was going on with that. Surely nobody would go through all that to post fake leaks? Anyway to get back on topic and err away from starting a conspiracy, Nekchir, in the event that your info is true, could you please tell us if the new sets still suffer from the ubiquity of metallic parts? That's probably my main concern for the new sets.

    Cute. I wouldn't mind sets like this, they'd be fun and also decent part packs for technic and other connectors. I get the feeling that the creature sets next year will feature masks though.

    Oh, so there are two different lengths? Nice. Will definitely be breaking out the Brasso on Jango when I get him (because yeah those prints don't even look good on the actual set IMO). Kind of annoying though, to see that Star Wars has a much higher budget for recolors than the CCBS flagship theme. Oh well.

    Trust me, you definitely won't be last. He looks like a fairly usable parts pack. Are all of the sand blue shells the same length?

    From my local stores in Ballarat: Kmart: nothing new Target: New Friends and Elves Myers: New Star Wars, Minecraft, Ninjago and some (but not all) new City sets Big W: All of the new City and Ninjago sets. So it would seem all of the August sets are out in one place or another now (except for Bionicle, which I am yet to find).

    Any Australians seen the new sets yet? It's almost mid-August and I still haven't seen anything new.

    I've seen a few new ninjago sets, saw the ghost bike at Big W last week, and saw the blue tank thing at Kmart the week before. Not sure why only those two August sets got an early release though.

    A new mask recolor? In an easily accessible polybag? And it's (in my opinion) the best mask of this wave? Yes please. Also I notice that the instructions do in fact tell you to attach the mask to the stand like that, but do you think it would attach better the other way around? Or does it not fit?

    From the original set list I couldn't help but notice Ice "C" was missing. G2 Matoro when? Anyway when does this thread stop being wishes and become rumors and speculation/general discussion? Surely it's time for a new pinned thread soon.
