  1. Snooky Young playing Li'l Darlin' with the Harry Edison Orchestra.
  2. I play jazz/lead trumpet as well as jazz flugelhorn. I play semi-professionally and attend jam sessions in the Detroit area at local clubs.
  3. Are there any other musicians out there on the EB forums? I am a semi-professional big band/jazz trumpet and flugelhorn player.
  4. I have been wondering if it is possible if you could use O scale Kadee knuckle couplers with Lego bricks for trains. The magnets are IMO not very reliable with long trains and not prototypical (yes, I know it's Lego but...) You would have to be able to insert a screw and nut/lock washer ect. to hold the coupler box to the car. Has anyone done this? I have a few extra pairs lying around on my workbench and will play around with them and post pictures if I come up with anything.
  5. 3 Mandalorian battle packs I snagged on the cheap.
  6. The prototype Maersk locomotive was an SD40-2, but the Lego model only has 4 axles (most likely due to curve restrictions) and the vents on the hood make it look more like an SD45. I own both the Santa Fe FT and the BNSF GP38 but love the Maersk locomotive.
  7. I love the mobster fig. I guess it is time for a 20's era diorama. I guarantee you that I will be buying up lots of them once they become available. Get ready BL dealers, make me an offer I can't refuse!
  8. Hello. I have been a long time fan of both Lego and trains and am a serious O scale modeler. I like to build models in 8-wide, based off of American prototypes. I currently working on a model of an Ann Arbor/Wabash streamlined caboose, working off of one of my brass O scale models for reference. I went and sold off a lot (about 50 pounds) of my Lego 9V track and am currently focusing of just building models for display, not operation, to make them as accurate as possible.
