  1. Nice! I got the F1 transport truck with the Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing cars.
  2. Yeah! For me, because I am a car/racing enthusiast, the only sets I plan to buy this year are the F1 sets - simply for the cars though. Unfortunately the space, exploration and outdoors style sets are the ones that cause the most controversy as they feel as though the sets don't belong in a town-related theme. However, reading in between the lines, City is more about exciting careers that are either hard to achieve in real life or that you don't get to see by simply walking outside your door and the explorers sets still hold to that. I think if anything, the explorers sets actually helped the City theme to evolve. Clearly, they sell way better than police sets, thus the lack of them recently. So much so that perhaps I think they may deserve their own theme.........
  3. I'd be all for the lead designer of either Friends or Creator coming to help with City sets. They also need to bring back the person who designed the vehicles from 2005-2013 back. The vehicles were much better under him. City will be a much better theme now.
  4. 60458 to 60464 are soap box dirby sets, the 4+ tractor with trailer, this year's remix set, the 4+ fire truck and the Williams/Haas F1 racing duo. 60472 and 60474 are the scrapyard and the VCarb/Sauber F1 car duel. So the only numbers missing are 60471 and 60473, which I doubt are anything special. I think this is the final list.
  5. Sooooo! Remember the F1 set I told you guys was missing on the site? Welll...... it is rumored to not be released until March. So......for us AFOLs who had that set at top priority (myself included), we'll have to wait a bit. But its worth it. At least we know that the set HAS to come out as its already been confirmed by clear images and official box art. https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-city-formula-1-set-missing-from-2025/
  6. I agree! I know people are going to be triggered by this but I don't care: I actually thought Lego City was going to take a break from the police sets this year because those usually come out in the winter waves. Yes, there was a police helicopter with 60462, but I thought it was just going to be left at that. I was actually hoping for more town-related City sets this summer. Considering what we saw during the summer 2023 wave, I was thinking we'd at least see a standalone vet clinic - though I known someone is going to bring up 60380 despite me saying "stand alone". I'd definitely be down for a new airport and a hotel. Instead of a car workshop, I was thinking a mega service center set - complete with snack shop, gas pumps, vehicle inspection/repair bay and automatic car wash. A city plan would've also been nice to have. Perhaps with some other little shops such as a department store, but stop and a post office. Vehicles included could be a post van, a car or two and a bendy bus - yes Imma bring up the bendy bus until they make it. I wonder how the next hospital would look.
  7. I'm only curious about a handful of those.
  8. ....and some of the fire trucks having water shooting pistols instead of ladders and hoses. Lol
  9. A lot of stuff about City sets feels unrealistic, but I won't get into that topic as I have unintentionally started wars on this forum over that. However, if you were here during the early 2020s, you would've seen a few people around the Lego community whining about not bringing classic space back and this was simply Lego's way of shutting that side of the community up. So in a way.....I kinda understand why they brought martians. Also, this type of space doesn't seem to be based in the city like previous space waves, but rather......far out into the cosmos.
  10. Another unpopular opinion; City space doesn't feel like real life play anymore. That was kinda unalived when martians were introduced.
  11. The road baseplates were wide enough too.
  12. I haven't played that game in ages. I miss the challenge of racing various racers. I think Basil the Batlord and Gypsy Moth were the hardest ones to beat.
