  1. Its currently partially dismounted. I plan to rebuild it sooner or later in its full glory
  2. A nightmare interlocking system with pins to allow the jaw to move
  3. Are you planning to place the bounty in a large diorama?
  4. Fantastic! I'd like to see the whole model with the new changes
  5. Built and installed in the model two trasparents supports attached to the jaw line. Now the model is finally complete. Definetely my new greatest build.
  6. Sixth update: The model is finally complete. It took me ages to prepare the pieces, make some modifies and assemble the model. The Garmadon's shark mech walker is definetely the hardest challenge i have ever made. The head is temporary leaning on a pile of books (keeping the mouth closed) because its weight is unbalanced and without that it would fall forward and the legs cant sustain the whole shark. Im going to make a transparent support for the model to be able to place it in my diorama. If anyone has some tips on how to build a support for the model i would be happy to listen to your advises. @GLAP23 how about your progress with the garma mecha man?
  7. Fifth update: Built all the main body with the caudal fin, the rear turret and the inner engines. Completed all the rear partof the body with the great tail. Im currently building the head that will balance the structure with the tail. Had to make many modifies as always to create more connections. Reworked the legs to make them more solid.
  8. Thank you so much for the explanation. Have you noticed that the technic beams used for the legs are different between the videogame and the movie model? If so why have you preferred the movie version?
  9. Fourth update: Im building the rear part of the body with the tail and the smaller section behind the central frame with the legs. Each module is a solid parallelepiped of bricks (whose purpose i believe is to act as a counterweight) covered with a complex texture of panels. I had to create some new connections to make the the joints more stable. The more i continue with the build the more i want to see that big bad fish completed @GLAP23 can you confirm that those big blocks of bricks are used to balance the model? If not i wonder why you designed them so heavy and full.
  10. Small update: Had very few time this weekend. I only completed the finns and the inner frame with the second pair of pistons. This model is a real nightmare, the mecha crab was a polybag compared to this one. Many pieces are floating untill you insert the "keystone" and it all make sense. Hardest model ever but the result is very rewarding. Had to make some changes to make it more solid. Really hope this bad boy will handle its weight when its finished.
  11. Im speechless! Is the shark cannon arm finished? Cant wait to see shark ammo belt in it
  12. You sure have to make some research to do the job in the best way. It wasn't easy to me to find the right paint but I really had to do it because there are a lot of pieces in the shark mech that does not exist in the sand blue color - wich is the emblem of the shark army vehicles - and I was not willing to settle for an all gray model.
