  1. Because the person I trusted the most voted for Paul. It's really not that hard to understand.
  2. Are you stupid or just pretending to be? Let me lay it out in single lines for you. I voted for the person I stated I trusted the least. I specifically said that person also voted for the person I trust the most. I said I was suspicious of Paul but didn't like the fast votes with no explanation that seems like a bandwagon. The votes we're then explained in public and private to me. I changed my vote to Paul. What you said earlier today was completely untrue.
  3. Well that makes it simple. I'm glad to know we still have an investigator! I was afraid they were killed already with the lack of any info out about investigations. Vote: Louis Townsend
  4. Number one: this is completely untrue. Number two: someone said the exact same thing yesterday and then realized they were wrong. If you are going to accuse someone of something, at least have you facts straight.
  5. I don't trust Warren or have any reason to. I still feel the same way I did yesterday about him. I really thought Robert was scum though, so my scumdar is worthless at this point. I still trust Ethan since he has proved himself as much as possible without anyone sharing an investigation result - which would still only ease my mind slightly on any town read. From what I understand the first three or so votes yesterday were discussed in private and then voted without telling the rest of us much, which is what made it look like a bandwagon and I voiced this yesterday as well. If any other scum actually did show up and vote yesterday I would guess them to be in the middle or back half of the votes.
  6. What does that even mean?
  7. Yes! Any more scum want to claim vanilla so we can get this finished quick? I was definitely one that thought Robert was scum. To me he seemed to be behaving very much like a Godfather role would, but apparently he was actually trying to help. Sorry for being suspicious of you! I would play taps if I knew how and your horn wasn't in the ocean.
  8. If you look at what I actually said in the previous page post, i'm not completely against a Paul vote. I explained myself very much already.
  9. This post makes me think Paul is innocent and you are not. Plus, it will take 2 more votes to lynch so where are all these missing people? Seeing as the person who I trust the least has voted for the person I trust the most, I'll change my vote. I hope that tomorrow people will look at Warren and Elijah though. unvote: Warren Pratt Vote: Paul Lapointe
  10. I still might, it still bugs me that he hasn't shown up to say anything in any way of a defense. Maybe that's just what his teammates are telling him to do though. What makes a bandwagon a bandwagon, in my eyes, is when people are sharing what seems like reasons for voting. The votes might be all over or they might be more toward one person, but there are votes and reasons. Then toward the end of the day (last 24 or so hours) one person suddenly gets floods of votes without proof and often without any reasonings posted about vote flipping. They pile on steady and fast and that's a bandwagon. I would say bandwagons are not 100% on townies, but more often than not. I also would say that an investigation result on someone that causes massive voting is not a bandwagon even though out of context it would look the same.
  11. So there appears to be a lot of chatting going on behind the scenes which is very hard on the town, I'm sure the scum love it though! With 14 players, getting to page 6 on day 2 is pretty low post counts all around. yes, I realize i'm part of the problem with very low number of posts. I've been trying to pay better attention to things for day 2 and I have to say that the Paul votes make me extremely nervous. This is very much like yesterday when all the votes piled onto someone at the end of the day with no real evidence. There are people voting here without even saying why they are voting! Even if you know why, even if you have agreed in some PM conversation, if you are town you owe it to the rest of us to say why you are voting for someone. it's really not that hard. I have gone back and read the things Paul said over the past two days, read some of the things others have said to/about Paul. He does seem scummy overall, I'll give you that. The most damning thing right now is that he claims vanilla townie (usually a very safe claim for a scum) in what appears to be a role madness setup - at least to this point he appears to be the only one claiming vanilla. Additionally I have not seen him come back to defend himself at all. He wasn't Ethan-level active before, but did sorta drop off the face of the world after the role madness talk started. This is very suspicious. However, the thing that gives me pause is the fact that everyone is so willing to move votes to him without much other than that to go on, and it's been quick. Warren Pratt, now there's someone very worrying to me. Makes a big longwinded claim of being a bodyguard and then a claim that he didn't use his bodyguard role last night - why not? Lame excuse about confusion. Other than that not much except GIFs and as Robert pointed out, not answering much that's been asked. I'm sorry, but someone who is any sort of town protector will protect someone they see as town, even on the first night. Yes it would have been a risk to yourself, but only a small risk and maybe the risk would pay off and we could find some scum based on the results. It's a team win, so claiming you could protect and didn't is a lie or very selfish act. So of the two, I see a lot more to dislike in Warren. I went to bed last night hoping Paul would come back and say something but apparently he won't. Half the people haven't even voted and we're in the last hours, where is everyone? Vote: Warren Pratt
  12. I believe him, I'm in exactly the same situation. It is not as i had expected, much less free time to watch these days than what I was led to believe I would have. I'm almost out of break time right now, as a matter of fact. I don't think it points to anyone being scum or not just by having a reason to be inactive. I could be active scum or inactive scum, active town or inactive town. It doesn't make a lot of difference. However, when someone does something that looks like a scum slip-up and then goes silent, that's more suspicious to me. I do feel that a lot of my words and replies from yesterday were taken completely wrong and twisted, but I really don't have it in me to go back and respond to everything. I'm sorry, but I know from experience that there is nothing i can say that won't be taken and twisted again. This is my first headache free day all week and I won't let the mafia change that, today i'm zen. There were some comments I read from yesterday that were saying me lurking wasn't helping - I'm not lurking. If i'm around I'm responding, if I'm not responding I'm not around. It's as simple as that.
  13. It matters who killed Ansel but not matters if it was vig or scum, is what i'm saying. People like to try and focus on "oh that's not a scum kill because why would they kill that person" when it doesn't matter at this point what type of kill it was and it's used as a distraction to bother discussing what type of kill or if there is even a vig it was at this point. If there is a vig, he knows who he is and is is probably trying his best to help us. If there is no vig and/or there is a serial killer or other horrible 3rd party, he is probably trying to stay very low key. Scum is most likely trying to be very helpful right now, or at least seem very helpful knowing they can always use the "ah man, darn, i was so pinged by that guy" excuse for a few days. I didn't say that there wasn't much to respond to except for about myself (all i saw at a skim was people saying i was quiet, which i was, can't argue that can I), i simply didn't have much to say/add. I wasn't around much and couldn't keep up with a lot of the conversation. I responded to the thing that stuck out to me the most. I didn't see it until the night phase already started. As I've mentioned a few times, I wasn't around much for Day 1. I meant the royal you as in "everybody that is not me". When I opened up the thread all i saw was a bunch of people yelling and cursing at each other which made my head pound because in my mind it's really just people standing around (6 feet apart of course, must be safe) screaming. Open up the day 1 thread and search my name? Is that a thing people do? Not being sarcastic, I have never thought of doing that once. I just open and read and try to comprehend but until day 3 or so it's all just such a blur. That's why on Day 3 is the earliest I can usually make any sense of what people are talking about.
