Welcome to my profile!

In December 2011 I joined the LEGO community.

In July 2012 I joined the Guilds of Historica. I came there and the people were so kind and pushed me to improve and always build on. I mean, the whole LEGO community is awesome, but when you join the Guilds, it all comes to a new level ;-). So I encourage YOU to join! I had a great time at the GoH forum. But still it came a long time without my bricks... in 2016 I met a beautiful girl and so I didn't spend much time with my LEGO. When I had a day off I met her instead of you know... building stuff. So I lost interest in building and also in the community. 2019 we got married and moved to a new place, Wetzikon, one and a half hour away from both our homes (which is pretty much in Switzerland where you can cross the whole country in like 3-4 hours). Also i finished my studies and got my master of theology. Now I'm working as a youth pastor in the coolest Church ever: FEG Wetzikon. In Spring 2022 we had a week with many children where I held a LEGO workshop. It was also a lot of fun building with some Ukrainian kids and building LEGO is a very good activity which you can do even if you don't understand each other. Yeah and that LEGO Workshop was so much fun that I decided to do something again in my freetime. And that's what brought me back here, to the community, and to my favourite forum: The Guilds of Historica.

Now if you made it this far you've read a lot about me and about my life - and you found out that I'm a pastor and that I believe in Jesus. There's this creed, which is like 1500 years old, and it perfectly summarizes my faith:

I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
