1. Name

Stigveladi Kötturin (in their own language it is spelled "Stígvélaði kötturinn")

Stigveladi means "booted" or "in boots" as she already had strong weals and horny skin at her feets when she was born. Her other appearance wasn't that bad though. She was as pretty as a dwarf could be.

The name Kötturin refers to her origin. She was born in the village "Köttur" which was formerly known as "Læða" (~ Laytha). The inhabitants were still called "Kötturin". Legend has it that the village was founded by huge feral cats that had found the very first dwarves under a stone. As those were helpless, the lynx-like creatures chose to nurture them and to give them a home. For this reason the dwarves from Köttur worshipped their origin. The feral cat "Læða".

While Stigveladi was the leader of the village (she became leader at the age of 198), she was called "Amma" for some reason. In fact she was related to nearly everyone, most of the Kötturin were her offspring. And she was known as very friendly and kind-hearted.

2. Physical appearance

She is short as it is usual for a dwarf. She is surely not thin. But she is not so fat like most dwarves. You could call her plump.

3. Backstory

Stigveladi Kötturin is a very old dwarf (dwarfs don't get much older than 250 years in general). Stigveladi is a female dwarf which is not quite common (only 1 in 3 dwarfs are female). Most people do not notice that a female dwarf is standing in front of them, as they appear almost like a male dwarf. Word has it that sometimes even male dwarfs do not recognize a female dwarf. Also, the dwarven community tries to protect their females, so that female dwarves do not appear in public very often.

Stigveladi once was the well-known matriarch of the village she originally comes from. With raising age she became a very important person in her village and their leader. As nearly everyone was somehow related to her and as she was a very kind but still severe leader, everyone called her "Amma", which is like "grannie" in their language.

But one day something happened and the whole village turned against her. She was banned from the village because of these events.

4. Present circumstances?

Getting banned has changed her character. She became leery of anybody, a bit grumpy, depressed and inwardly disintegrated.

After she had lived for long time on her own in the forests, learning more about the spirit of nature, she heard the news about Eubric and the gathering of heros up there. She decided to pack her back and join the mysterious forces of Heroica and see what adventures she will go through.

5. World view

The world is bad in her eyes. She was hurt deeply inside when she got banned by her village, her people, her friends. Now she thinks everbody wants to hurt her.
