  1. I mean, is it that much more unrealistic than a circular anti stud for chickens feet? I guess you can always place your flamingos strategically behind some verdant foliage to hide its simple leg if you need to …
  2. Nope, three new animal moulds is the record. Series 19 though had three new moulds (dachshund, flamingo & chameleon), 2 new recolours/prints (chicken & French bulldog). And one reuse (scorpion) … plus a bonus rubber duck!
  3. Sure the monkey could stand in for the monkey though ;)
  4. I like this. They’ve toyed a little with putting ‘historical’ figures into other sets, the caveman in the City museum a few years ago was a hoot! Have often thought that some carefully considered licensed themes would let the do this more … Night at the Museum sets anyone?
  5. Ach we can all use a Zombie Skateboard Knight somehow Re the Jester - when did they last produce a jester? We forget that current kids might not have a lengthy hoard of previous CMFs to rely on, so revisiting archetypes every few years makes marketing sense. Regardless, four specific ways a jester could be different are 1) new colour way, 2) gender swap, 3) new desirable accessory, and 4) new moulded hat piece and/or collar piece Also depends what we are talking about in terms of previous figures - to me we should presume CMFs are adding to the CMF roster, and so that’s the back catalogue that matters (one which has only two classic witches and two wizards, historically)
  6. As it might help some folk : having found some intact boxes in the wild, I’ve found that on the top level two Wolf/Beastmasters were all in the same place in each box. Specifically on the top level, left hand side, second and third from back. Might help those who aren’t able to scan to have a better chance of picking the right ones
  7. So here’s my attempt at a Castle CMF line up. For me it’d be some way between the eclectic-ness of the Space CMF, and a full-on one of Castle add-on characters 1. Princess with new harp 2. Peasant with new ram 3. Sorceress 4. Plague Doctor 5. Herald with new long trumpet 6. Blacksmith 7. Alchemist 8. Elf child with new unicorn foal (thanks @Lion King) 9. Beefeater with raven 10. Jester 11. Castle costume fan (utilising the Brick body piece in yellow, and/or a new ‘turret’ headpiece as an homage to the OG yellow castle) 12. Knight costume kid (reusing the wearable horse pieces from the Series 18 ‘cowboy costume’ kid)
  8. Representing all the existing factions would be akin to how the Space series referenced themes, and how they have been appearing in CMFs Side note - didn’t Lego recently do a poll on what Castle factions to bring back / add? Whatever happened to that?
  9. I mean, garden flamingos aren’t a thing to me, but I think the existing one is fine, it’s just the ‘leg/s’ that are an issue, and it’s minimal. Well I finally tracked down some WolfMasters from CMF 27. The wolf 😍😍 OMG … just been comparing it size-wise to other dogs as well as the big cats & bear: it stacks up pretty well. My only small niggle is the printed ‘angry’ eyebrow: hopefully any recolours will give a standard eye to future members of my Lego pack
  10. Would be fun for folks to suggest their line up for 12 castle characters….
  11. The only other possibility is that they have been hoarding OG goats all these years make your own goat hoarding jokes
  12. He’s from the Goat Theme. That’s separate 😜
  13. 🤬 For sheer devotion to the cause, TLG should create a unique goat in a new colour and print, and distribute it solely to the steadfast crew of this thread.
  14. It’s an interesting one, and for sure they could do one that would be very popular - both with old school fans and current kids. That said, there have already been *so many* Castle type figures dotted throughout CMFs over the years. They are individually often very popular and may well be a big draw to the ‘random’ series too. I wonder if it makes more sense for Lego to just keep dropping them in normal series. Off the top of my head, we have had from CMF - King, Queen, Jester, Forestman, Forest maiden, Bard, BatLord, Beastmaster, Princess, 3 ‘hero’ Knights, Evil Knight, Fright Knight, Wizard, 2 Witches, evil Wizard, Rogue, Orc, Falconer, 2 Elves, 2 Dwarf warriors, Goblin, and one kid dressed as a knight, as well as 3 vikings, one Braveheart type warrior, 2 Forest sprite things, fortune teller, some barbarians and an Arabian Knight. That’s about 3 solid series worth already!
  15. Ensign Ro! Now I’m excited. Might have a prune juice to celebrate.
