  1. For my own sanity - do the mods have a contingency plan for this? When the Falcon is announced we'll have people who's lego budget is, shall we say 'pocket money', all taking turns to say a set - they couldn't afford under any scenario - is 'overpriced'. I really don't think we need to read that 5,000 times.
  2. Knightcrawler gets a tough press but I really like it. Flawless? Hardly! But it's fun and a good price. Flying Fox is another success - pictures look horrible, wasn't going to get it, but in person it's great and the set has enourmous play value.
  3. Bought a pile of them on discount from Toys R Us - a great army builder and those gargoyles are very expensive through bricks & pieces.
  4. So, in other words, what we're getting is pretty much going to be the same size in terms of pieces. I'm not hung up on an interior - and we ain't getting one - the more this rumour spreads the more disappointment there could be. I don't want that overshadowing a new Falcon, I chose not to get the last one and always regretted that...
  5. Off topic! Reported to mods. Oh. Wait. The second set is that fishing hut surely, where's this Wayne Manor rumour come from? And everyone - c'mon, Falcon is clearly visible in that colour swapped box image. Now...will it be any good...
  6. Crazy, amazon has these new sets up to 27% off already!! 48 hours after release!
  7. What the blazes happened with the price for the ice tank?! It's £20 more than Kai's mech but has fewer pieces! The Temple is the same price but with 500 more pieces! Waa really looking forward to that set and now feel like I'm being cheated - rest of the wave is superbly priced.
  8. The minifigs are fine, perhaps a bit more 'wow' could have beed added with some more printimg here and there, but fine overall. As for the sets, they all seem really well designed. We might have an issue with the source material but I think LEGO has put in a lot of effort. Check those recent Marvel sets to get an idea of what sets designed by LEGO's B team look like. Dear me.
  9. I got all the non exclusive stuff at discount from a site called Jadlam in the U.K with next day delivery. Building the fire mech now. So many figures in these sets, lovely!
  10. Can anyone work out what's at the back of the assault walker? It opens but can't tell what's there.
  11. Ren's fighter is a bit weak...it has almost no functions. Firing missiles. And? The cheap shuttle set has loads of playability for something so small.
  12. Garma Mecha Man is the surprise of the wave for me. Sure, it's not as good on a price to parts ratio as some sets, but it's a lot more substantial in the flesh with a number of nice touches. If the budget allows, I wouldn't overlook it.
  13. The CMF series is a bit weak - not only do we get duplicates but some of those duplicates (Kai, Angler etc) actually have less printing than the 'standard' versions available in the sets. How strange...
  14. Incredible. That you also put together instructions too is very thoughtful. I think 15,000 bricks slightly exceeds my light bluish grey stores...
  15. The UK prices are amazing! The Bounty would cost twice as much if it were a Star Wars set!
