  1. I made mine too, but mine is more square.
  2. Steering ideas: There's a new 8 tooth sliding gear in the 420009 crane; If you use that with the steering rack, you could have the steering shaft change angles (with a CV joint or similar) and still have steering.
  3. You can use rebrickable. Add all of the sets you own, then compare it to the moc.
  4. How about some mini-sets that add onto the 8110 unimog, like the cement mixer addon that replaces the included crane and pickup bed, or maybe a set that adds the lawnmower attachment on ? Perhaps the train car pulling unimog
  5. Just pick one up anyways. It's an excellent set that will bring you many hours of fun.
  6. I'd say it's the 9398 4x4 crawler b-model.
  7. Yes, the Unimog steering has been somewhat corrected. nicjasno has made an improved version, and I've made one based on his as well that uses almost entirely pieces from the unimog set. His steering and suspension fixes and a video explaining everything can be found mine can be found here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1696315/Unimog%20Front%20Axle.zip
  8. I've finally gone and built my version of the Unimog front axle assembly in LDD and made instructions and took pictures. click to download the zip (7.7mb) Props to nicjasno.
  9. I ran the cable on mine above the center differential "ball", it keeps it out of the way.
  10. I'm really looking forward to 42009. Would be nice if it had the remote control stuff, but it's a definite buy. Even more than that, I'm hoping they re-do the 8275 bulldozer as well.
  11. This is great, but I can't help but think it's going to weigh roughly as much as the real deal when you're done
  12. What I would really like, but is probably an awful idea, is a 1-length bushing for pins.
  13. I'm having way too much fun with this
