  1. If you read this topic fully, you'll see that the Admins decided against changing the default time of the board because it'd mean everyone would have to update their time zone settings. The very simple workaround (solution if you will) on your side is to select a different time zone than the one you're actually in. I'm in CET (Central European Time) and to make the time display correctly, I simply select GMT in the settings.
  2. The day threads are for players only. Please do not post in them. Comments about the game can be posted in the discussion thread (this thread). Be careful not to comment on game play itself (as that might give away players affiliation or role in the game). Compliments for the host are welcome here though.
  3. Please read our Site Guidelines for our policy about using EB for selling stuff.
  4. Here's your answer. Topics merged.

Please use quotes appropriately. If there's nothing in particular you want to reply to and the post you're replying to is right above yours, it typically is not necessary to use the quote function. This applies especially to images. It it very rarely necessary to quote images. Quoting posts with images makes topics a lot less readable. So, please use quotes conservatively and avoid quoting images. Thank you!
  6. In case you've missed these, a couple of excellent MOCs have been posted on the forums since the start of the New Year. First up, from the Town forum, Legopard and his lovely Tree House. Meanwhile, vitreolum has been gracing the Special Themes forum with a number of highly original creations full of inventive part usages. In no particular order: Bad Elf First Snow Room with a View and The Princess and the Knight Enjoy!
  7. There are restrictions for the Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds forum. Please refer to our Site Guidelines and the specific rules for the BSTF forum.
  8. Sorry, despite double-checking everything, it seems I missed it. Entry 58. Central Square is now added to the list of entries. Should anyone who already voted wish to change his/her vote because of this, this is of course allowed (in that case, simply edit your vote).
  9. It seems I missed one entry. Entry 58. Central Square is now added to the list of entries. Should anyone who already voted wish to change his/her vote because of this, this is of course allowed (in that case, simply edit your vote).
  10. It's here. Sorry for the slight delay.

  12. Thanks to everyone who entered the sixth annual Expand the Winter Village Contest. Once again, it has been inspiring to see the additions to the winter village that you come up with. This year, we have a record-breaking 57 qualifying entries! You can now vote for your favourite entries by replying in this topic. Please read the voting rules below carefully and use this thread for voting only. We'd love to hear your feedback on the competition in the discussion thread. Voting closes on Thursday, 21 January at Midnight GMT. Voting Rules - You have a total of 5 points to award - You may not give more than 3 points to a single entry - Post your votes in the voting format shown below - You may not edit your post (posts edited more than one hour after the vote was placed will not be counted) - Votes that do not comply with these (simple) rules will not be counted - You must have joined Eurobricks prior to 1 January 2016 to be eligible to vote Voting Format Each voting posts starts with five (no more, no less) separate lines, which list the entry numbers (see below) of the entries you want to award points to. No matter how many points you wish to allocate to any one entry, every line represents one point, as the examples below illustrate. Example 1 If you'd like to award 3 points to entry number 37 and 1 point to entries 11 and 42 each, use the following voting format: 37 37 37 11 42 Example 2 If you'd like to award 2 points to entry number 27, 2 points to entry number 2 and 1 point to entry number 52, use the following voting format: 27 27 2 2 52 Example 3 If you'd like to award 1 point each to entries 9, 16, 21, 38 and 51, use the following voting format: 9 16 21 38 51 After these five lines you can comment on why you voted for these particular entries if you like, but begin your post with the required five lines that indicate the entries you want to vote for. Thank you for sticking to this voting format and making our lives a little easier. The Entries Take your time browsing through all the entries. Clicking on the link or the image takes you to the thread for the respective entry. The bold number in front of every entry is the entry number you need in your voting post. 1. 13. It's in the normal number range (40xxx) for seasonal sets and TLG exclusive (mainly GWP: gift with purchase) polybags. The image seems to have been removed from the Seasonal discussion thread, but if you google for "LEGO 40221" you can still see the image of the set.
  14. Welcome to EB. Please be aware that the maximum size for embedded images is 1,024 x 768 pixels.
  15. I'm afraid you're about 4 hours late entering this, as the deadline was midnight GMT. I'm sorry, but we have to draw the line somewhere.
  16. Actually, I am sorry to tell you that you are about 5 hours late as the deadline for entering was midnight GMT. I'm afraid we have to draw the line somewhere.
  17. To avoid any confusion about the deadline for submitting your entries: you have a little over 4 hours left from the time of this post.
  18. The Report button would have sufficed.
  19. These look great together. I like all of the clever interior details, especially on the living areas of the buildings. Nice to see that you used your progress on these to write a modular building guide.
  20. Modular Buildings is the term used by TLG and the AFOL community for CREATOR Expert buildings. The regular CREATOR line has buildings too and there are some structures in the CREATOR Expert line, like the Sydney Opera House or the Tower Bridge, that are discussed over in the Special Themes forum because they are not minifig-scale.
  21. I merged this with the existing Modular Buildings "general discussion" thread.
  22. Eurobricks Action Figure Moderator and Academy Teacher VBBN has successfully completed the rest of the 1HY 2016 Bionicle sets. There's a lot to look at here! 23. Perhaps these builders were thinking of those of us in the Southern hemisphere or were already looking forward to the Summer of 2016 when they built these beautiful MOCs in the middle of the Winter. Looking for ideas for your next fairground set, TLG? tkel86 cleverly incorporates Power Functions in his Swing Ride. Resident EB MOC expert snaillad was inspired by classic town sets and particularly the Paradisa theme when he built his Paradisa Cafe. Check out these MOCs and many great entries for the Expand the Winter Village Contest VI in the Town forum.
  24. Done and done. Good luck in the contest.
