  1. Apparently, it doesn't work in The Netherlands for just a set. Does it remove shipping on page '2: Payments' immediately once you enter the code?
  2. There's plenty of palm leaves on the island. Make yourself a nice skirt.
  3. I'm probably the only one, but I can't see the pictures hosted on the classic-pirates.com server I see the picture announcing the battles contest (which is on flickr). I like the new skin for the blog. Is the forum skin going to be updated as well?
  4. If the bold ones are the ones you've done... Looking forward to the pictures. You'll easily make 100 before BW10.
  5. Looks like that's the way things are. I just hope people with good night-vision have got a strategy worked out. And eeehm, I doubt if anyone with a slit throat would wake up. Regarding the odds of voting one of the rescue crew. The odds are likely going to be roughly the same among the passengers. And Seth is right in saying that the one who murdered that poor girl is among the passengers since the murder happened before the helicopter crash. Careful with your fingernails hun.
  6. Well, let's just let the day progress then. But besides your rescue crew, I don't expect anything else falling from the sky today. What do you suggest, drawing straws? Speaking of wieners, lunch time is approaching. How's lunch coming along Shirley? Need a hand?
  7. Except that the odds are likely against us, because I still believe that the majority of us is sane.
  8. The figs look great, but the catapult is also one of the best TLG has ever done. But why do they always have to include those silly weapons' stands in every other set?
  9. Feel free to help out our plane's chef Shirley. I'm sure she can use a hand with those wieners and potatoes some of the others brought in from the plane's supplies. We need to eat after all.
  10. Excellent use of those Racers mudguard pieces. I really like the stickers you've designed for it. Proves that you can make a great-looking entry without having PoP parts.
  11. Richard did notice. Thanks for attempting to rescue me. I didn't count the accepted players before, but there were only 18 initially, now we're up to the 'usual' 21.
  12. This is amazing piglet. I like the structures, but I'm even more impressed at how you've planned the landscaping around it. The height differences give it a really realistic look. Excellent work.
  13. Iz, Birthday happy
  14. Hellooooooooo Cyril Eeehm, they're insane... They obviously don't think clearly. But the murder of one of our fellow passengers?! A rescue chopper mysteriously crashed? There are certainly some people up to no good here. Any news from our rescue crew? Anyone else notice anything suspicious around the crash? And... let's share the food, so deliver all food supplies to Shirley. Did anyone manage to salvage the sausages? Potatoes and sausages, mmm...
  15. Welcome to EB Griffin. I like your classic town avatar. Have fun rebuilding your collection.
  16. Looks good so far. I like the idea of using the 'telescope' piece as a nozzle.
  17. I reduced it by one line as a result of this topic, but yeah, I considered myself abiding to the intent of the rules. That's the problem with over-regulating something. People would try to find ways to make something incredibly annoying that's 50 pixels in height, flashes, has animated GIFs, and horrible text-colors. But the current 'maximum' of 300 pixels could perhaps be reduced a little.
  18. This description and the classic whack-by-anvil, leads me to give Sir Dillon 3 points. 1 point goes to another classic whacking instrument: LuxorV and his piano. Fallentomato's and Oky Wan's entries were great as well.
  19. Nope, but you gave me a silly idea...
  20. I only noticed now: by one day. Your three-year anniversaries are coming up. Is that when the coup takes place?
  21. Well, there you go By that standard I guess mine is one or two lines too high
  22. Arch I agree with the Doc (and the 2 x 2 jumpers can also not really be called PoP parts). The new hairpieces and headwrap and the camel and ostriches are also great designs that will hopefully spill over to other themes as well. One of the other great things about PoP is the color scheme of the buildings.
  23. Excellent design. I really like the detailed interior.
  24. I know, and since it's under 'Special Interests' it shouldn't be too confusing that way. Maybe leave 'LEGO' out of the forum name totally, because most of the other forum names that include the word 'LEGO' relate to official LEGO themes? Maybe 'EB (Forum) Games'?
