  1. True (I like the one using 'Sandy's space helmet'), but then again, how many ways are there to build these.
  2. Sir, you have outdone yourself again. It indeed is impressive with the very limited palette of Svelte-was-wrong nougat. However, the color, only spiced up with a little gold, does gives it a really menacing look. A nice contrast with the richness of the Alamut gate. The bathtub is as brilliant as it is hilarious. I really like the waterfall and the resulting 'bubbles' in the water. And who'd have thought the Nizam liked their wash cloths pink? Great to see those big green pot plants back again. I hope Jamie Berard is pushing TLG to take them back into production for the next modular building.
  3. I really like it when a couple of bricks combined make such relatively realistic models on minifig scale. Nice job.
  4. This indeed is the best 'bignette' so far Pep. You could have made one zombie crawl from a grave: you have the 'height' in the back of the scene.
  5. Sandy and Cutlass Iz are featured in today's special - the Forestman - on Classic-Town.net

    Hi

    Happy Birthday

    Happy birthdays to you all!
  9. Shirley said earlier that she could confirm or deny your night action, Ellen. The fact that she votes with you now, makes me trust your story. Vote: Bill Campbell (Big Cam) Say hi to your old friend Cyril.
  10. They came in at least four versions: http://brickset.com/detail/?set=3404-1 http://brickset.com/detail/?set=3405-1 http://brickset.com/detail/?set=3406-1 http://brickset.com/detail/?set=3407-1
  11. Thank you Ellen for coming forward. Looks like we were right deducting there was someone with a night action left. I will wait for what our dear Shirley has to say about this, 'cause apparently she can confirm/deny your story.
  12. I don't see the rationale for her coming forward then if she basically has nothing to tell. I can't be out at night. As I said, I just defend myself when attacked, and I think I have a convincing story to prove my sanity. My big axe would have been seen on more nights if I'd be out at night, now wouldn't it? Now stop jumping on everything that's brought forward. The insanes have nothing to gain from speaking up, they know what they need to know, namely who ISN'T on their side. Anyway, I was merely trying to make the point - and I think Shirley was doing the same thing - that there's probably another SANE with a night action that needs to come forward either here or privately.
  13. ... and what could be her point in coming forward with that now? If it was an insane action, at least she would have wanted to steer the vote in direction of a sane, which she doesn't. She doesn't point fingers at anyone. Why does she do it then? No idea, but we can't afford to jump to conclusions now. I was expecting yesterday to be our last shot, but I'm convinced today is. Our biggest handicap has been the supposed loss of our investigator on the first night. That's why you haven't seen anyone come forward with any useful 'night' information earlier. The day has only just started and I agree with you, we also shouldn't jump on someone who happened to sleep a little late (because of time zone differences). There is reason to believe there is still someone with a night action unaccounted for. On the night Ron was killed, he was attacked by two insanes. However, Seth was also accidentally killed and there were two people with Seth as well. One of them may have been Deborah, who probably had some sort of night action (see also the start of this day: "Def/ Deborah Fredricks was out of bed, wanting to check something."). I'm tempted to think both of them were sane, because if there would have been three insanes, we probably would not have been here today, because with four required votes, we could never convict an insane then. And to be complete, the one who shot Zane that night was most likely Brian Mason, who was convicted yesterday. Before fingers are being pointed at me, which seems to be the nature of the game the last days, like I said before: I have a weapon that I took from the plane and use defensively only. And I have used it only once when I was attacked by the hatchet killer. I still think that's all the proof of my sanity you need. And yes, I could have been converted in between, but if the insanes could convert, I think this game... of life would have been over two days ago.
  14. Well, all I can say, I'm baffled. I'm surprised we're still alive after this night. This must mean there are/were only two scum left. And I don't have much to go on anymore... I will have to piece together all the bits of information again. And, as Shirley pointed out, it may be best to share everything you have at this point...
  15. One of your best yet Bluebard. I really like the color scheme and the detailed interiors you managed to fit on a 16 x 32 base plate.
  16. Regarding (1), I guess moderators have very good memory. Regarding (2), all moderators' and administrators' names can be found using the 'Contact Staff' link on the frontpage. From what I understand of it, they have roughly the same moderating permissions, however, depending on their focal area they are either 'Town', 'History', 'Star Wars', etc. Moderator or 'Global Moderator' for moderators that actively moderate multiple fora. This topic also explains some differences. Furthermore, you can search members by user group using the 'Members' link in the top-right corner.
  17. You can't sleep during mafia. See what happens when you do?

    Slave To The Brick!

Great work! Who did you use as inspiration for that character? Indeed, so recognizable, except for the SW frenzy that is. I didn't have a 'Bricky' on my shoulder yet, but now I bet I'll start visualizing him in toy stores.
  19. Hooray. Pure randomness and no alliances whatsoever wins.
  20. Well, you could always make an index thread once they're all done.
  21. Eeeehm, let's see... That's a neat idea Peppy. Looking forward to the other 15. I especially like the blossoming tree in this one.
  22. I don't think I've ever seen a topic locked here because 'a mod didn't like it'*. I actually experience EB as a place where discussion is encouraged, rather than discouraged. This thread still being open proving that. I actually expected it to be locked right away because clearly you don't want hundreds or even thousands of topics (yes, that's how many members EB has) with people listing what they've bought. It's conveniently placed in one topic. You'd be scrolling and searching endlessly if mods didn't do their job in this respect. Now, that would hurt traffic to EB. * The only gray area tends to be the Community forum. There, typically only topics that involve discussions about religion, politics and so on are locked, which clearly don't belong on Eurobricks (also see the Site Guidelines). Because the boundaries in Community aren't clearly defined and a lot of judgment is required from the moderators.
  23. Why post this in BTSF? And, if you do not agree with a certain decision, why not take it up with one of the moderators directly?
  24. Some nice thoughts there TheBrickster. Although I quickly tend to forget about the "Do I really...?", "Should I...?", and so forth once new sets come out that interest me. I just have to have them. The contrast with when I was a kid. Rushing to the toy store to get the LEGO catalog as soon as it was out. Hours and hours of browing through it again and again. Waiting for birthdays or saving up for a certain set...
  25. This is indeed a crucial vote today. However, there are a few things that strike me about this reasoning. First, how can you have all the confidence in Ellen and Samantha? Don't get me wrong: I have absolutely no reason whatsoever to suspect them, but there also is nothing that leads me to conclude they are on my side, since we sanes - as far as I know - have no way of knowing who's on our side and who isn't. Unless you have figured something out during the night. Then now would be a good time to share that information with all of us. But I thought popular belief was that our investigator died on night 1. Second, you were the one vigorously defending Leo before his lynching. On day 2, you were defending Ellen. Again, unless you know more, you seemed to have no reason to defend Ellen. And you certainly made yourself look suspicious by defending Leo, an insane. Third, based on the information we got last night, there was one person approaching Seth who was up to no good. And there were two persons attacking and killing Ron. That would make three insanes. Now if the insanes manage to lynch one sane person today, make a successful night kill, and prevent an insane death, there would be three insanes and two sanes left and the insanes would win. Could this be the reason you are pushing us so hard to vote? And then there is this crucial analysis by Seth yesterday, our voice of reason who was taken away from us in the last night. Why would Leo, an insane, try to shift attention to Brian, also an insane? Brian mentioned two insanes and a sane. Now why would he do that if he himself is insane? Hey, now who's left here? Vote: Deborah Fredricks (def) I can be wrong, because I know absolutely nothing more than what has been discussed in the day threads and again, if any of you have more information, please share it and I would happily change my vote.
