  1. Agreed, the name doesn't cover all games played anymore. However, you risk some confusion with the 'LEGO Games' theme that way.
  2. Nurse and Skater boy pictures on flickr.
  3. Great categories. Looking forward to the entries. btw: I really like the 'gate in the rocks' you've built for this. Shows again how much potential this theme has.
  4. Welcome to Eurobricks Don't worry, there's always Bricklink and Lego's PaB.
  5. Yeah I was looking for a topic in 'Website & Forums' as well. Great new skin: nice effects on the sword fight.
  6. Happy Birthday Zorro.
  7. Such a brilliant review of an epic classic town set. And an excellent idea for TLG to revive and bring up to today's City scale. The 6-wide comparison shots are hilarious. When I saw this in the catalogs, I was always wondering how the cars would move about on each of the floors. I could see a maximum of 2 cars per floor being realistically parked and then you could wonder about the need for a parking tower in the first place. What's that? Lego isn't supposed to be realistic? In that case: excellent set. And congratulations on your gold medal. Well-deserved!
  8. Did you see this in the sign-up thread?
  9. The AFOL community loses a great builder, but who cares when there's a father, husband, and friend to be missed? I wish his family and friends all the strength they need to cope with this loss.
  10. Richard Ricardo crawling from the wreckage alive... now does anyone know how to start a fire and more importantly, did anyone manage to take some sausages? *Looks at the Flight Chef* (thanks for letting me play Ricecracker and JimB)
  11. Thanks. Are you also going to post the roles and night actions in this thread?
  12. Those buildings are great (signature 1 x 1 round plates again), but I especially like the vegetation on the banks of the stream. Excellent work.
  13. Congratulations on that frontpage. A really entertaining read. Just wondering what mini-fig-urines are...
  14. That helmet looks really nicely detailed indeed. Anyone else wondering where that Technic half-pin goes on Boba Fett?
  15. I have my "firstnamelastname" as username, which luckily doesn't contain any inappropriate words. But I agree with is silly and could easily be programmed correctly by having a dictionary of approved words. More importantly the cure appears worse than the disease, as it literally spells out the words that are not approved. Now, how does it handle inappropriate words in other languages?
  16. My initial thought as well, but the new version has tubes on the bottom.
  17. Hmm, "Eurobricks": Rick, bore us Rick, be ours Be us or Rick (sounds philosophical) Rick, rob Sue (poor girl, do we even have a member named 'Sue'?)
  18. I was always so excited when a new catalog came out. Going to the toy store to get it, trying to grasp as many of all the news in the short drive home, and then spending countless hours going through it over and over again, seeing what I absolutely needed to get with my birthday money. Difference with today is that the most sets were actually on the shelves at the moment the catalog came out (or you had to wait a few months at most). Nowadays you have to sometimes wait more than half a year after seeing the first prelims until something is actually released. Having said that, I think the main difference was the enthusiasm of a child back then...
  19. Happy Birthday!
  20. Great MOC TheBrickster. As always, this MOC has that clean 'set-like' look, with just the right amount of details, and even some 'play features'. Well done.
  21. 1 x 1 round black brick on the minifig's neck. Ostrich head on top of it...
  22. Bon anniversaire Jipay.
  23. Take care cagri and don't let this drive you into a dark age. Be back safe after your service.
