  1. Absolutely, I am able to do so 😅 But seeing as I do all my daily life in metric, I'd like my displayed sets to also reflect that 😊
  2. I just received my set, haven't opened it yet, but will soon. Got a question though, after seeing the pictures on the box and some reviews.. Being located in Europe, I have no familiarity with miles and pounds, and the display stickers show all statistics in imperial. I hoped it would be region-specific at least, but it seems to not be the case? And here I was thinking all space-related metrics were, well, metric. Maybe I should say SI-units. Maybe I should tweet LG about it... Or just make scan the stickers and make my own. Hmm... All the small things, eh?
  3. Sorry for bumping, but I would just like to thank you for the review. This was the last Lego set I got before my dark ages, so I remember it well. Fortunately I never sold my lego, so I've since rebuilt it, naturally. Really fun to see this review and remind me yet again about the time. And also your review of the 8479, next last set I got. Also a gem! :)
  4. My box was "filled" with aircushions, but they were all deflated, so not much help there. The polybag was on the bottom though, and hadn't made any marks. This is the one box I will keep though, since it is so special.
  5. I ordered it exactly when it became available on S@H, and received it the next day actually, friday. One parcel with both the mini mech and the crawler.
  6. I don't quite remember, but I think it was number 16936 on my one, bought at S@H in Norway. I'll update when I get home if I'm wrong. update: EK16935!
  7. Mine was shipped yesterday and according to the tracking has arrived in my town. So any minute now I'll get it :-)
  8. Just ordered one from the Norwegian S@H! AAh, so excited. I was once looking to buy the 9398 Crawler when I stumbled upon rm8 thread about the crawler, and when I was done reading it I decided I'd wait for The Boss. So glad I did! :)
  9. I just use a laptop, works good enough for me.
  10. I got the 7498 (police headquarters) at a supermarket in Denmark for $38, which is down from $230. Great deal, last one they had. And a couple of weeks later I got the 8285 (tow truck) for the same $38, slightly used but still in good shape. Very happy with these deals.
  11. ..and last summer they were in Norway and beat the previous world record :P
  12. Aah, this is a great set and my first big set back in the 90s.. Thanks for reviewing it, mostly for them who hasn't seen it/acquired it.
  13. Well, a bank has been mentioned in this thread already, though. And I would also really love a bank, with some greekish pillars or something, a bit majestic. Grand is the word.
  14. Got my Emerald Night (Ordered from S@H) with instructions and sticker sheet packed like this, very happy with this :)
