SHORT SUMMARY

WEAKNESSES

-slow acceleration and low torque

-high steering range

-aesthetics breaks when it crashes

-boost don't explode if overloaded :(

STRENGTHS

-slow acceleration, low torque and high steering range make its features similar to the ones of trucks in the game

-probably an AAA battery box can increase torque/speed

-easily removable bodywork

-really funny to drive on smooth surface like wood flooring

-robust chassis that could be used as a platform for other trucks

-it crashes like in Motorstorm :3 (more or less)

30. Zis E134 Trial Truck

This is my contribution to the Contest!

Its a Zis E134 Trial Truck. Yes a Trial Truck ;) Nothing special you think? Let me change your mind!

Its full with Power Function Motors.

Facts:

Function 1 and 2:

2 or 4 XL Motors for driving ( via a switch controlled by a M-Motor you can either select 2 XL or 4 XL Motor for propulsion.

Function 3:

2 L Motors for Steering

Function 4:

A Gearbox with 2 Gears. Low and High Gear selected via a M-Motor. One for the crawling and one for flat surfaces.

Other functions:

Hood and trunk can be opened

Working Fake-Engine under the Hood.

2 LED on top and 1 LED in the back.

Everything is controlled via the S-Brick App. (I am glad i got the Beta version working since the App is very buggy at the Moment and unpredictable. :( But the Teams is working on that.

Here are some Pictures. and at the End a Video. Regarding the Video please keep in Mind that i used a old Digicam for the parts in which i couldn't use my Iphone 6, because i can't use the SBRICK APP and the Camera at the same time :( . But you get the Idea and i hope you like the Design and the Power of that Truck.

32. The Wiggle Truck

It's my first MOC using studless (technic) Lego.

I always wanted to create a vehicle whose control is based on the tilt of the vehicle.

Functions:

The "Wiggle Truck" is equipped with 5 motors connected to a SBrick.

1 Servo steering (tilting the main body)

2 XL motors for propulsion

1L engine for lifting

1L motor for rotating

The 2 XL motors are connected to 1 output of the SBrick and works perfect.

39. Ice Mole

So, this is my TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine), built for the sole purpose of breaking into snow banks, for the joy of my kids.

It uses 4 L motors and needs 2 IR receivers, so using an sBrick for it is the perfect choice, as under 30 cm of snow, IR will fail, Bluetooth will prevail ;)

  • Weight: 1.5 Kg (exactly)
  • Dimensions: 36(L) x 18(l) x 16(h) cm
  • Drills: 5 (only)

  • L motor for main drill
  • L motor for the 4 side drills

Manual functions:

  • Open-able 2-sided top

Thanks for this awesome contest, good luck to you all!

PS: Sorry for the photo/video quality, it's hard at night and I was really running out of time.

If possible, I would make better ones and replace these, by the time of the voting :)

Due to lack of snow, I had no possibility to test/film it outside, as I intended...

41. TOYOTA Land Cruiser FJ45 with snow plow attachment

640x427.jpg

Scale model of Toyota Long bed truck (FJ45)

Features:

• All time 4x4 transmission

• 2-speed manual gearbox (high/low ratio)

• Live axles suspension with 2 link + panhard rod at each

• Openable doors with locks, bonnet, bed door

• Convertible roof

• Detailed saloon

• Customs stickers

• FJ45 custome Sbrick control profile was designed at designer.sbrick.com

• John Deere color scheme

Motorized functions:

• Propulsion: XL-motor

• Steering: Servo-motor

• Winch/Plow elevation: M-motor

• Snow plow tilt left/right: M-motor

Powered by LiPo battery block thru Smart Brick final release unit (sbrick.com)

+ Additional plow PF LED-lights

Plow is elevated by winch. This scheme is popular in cheap and simple snow plows. Tilt in such model usually manually customized or use hydraulics. I used lever-push mechanism to tilt left/right. Plow can be dropped easily and you can use winch as regular.
