Brainbox Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 The last few days I've been down at my grandparents, to see that side of the family before Christmas. Coming back on Saturday, we ran into two random traffic jams on the M6 with no apparant cause. :-| Yesterday I went ot my first rehersal for the panto. Rehersals started a few months ago, but because I'm tech crew (lights) I wasn't needed til now. I've found someone to help me with sound this time, which is good, as I'm not in over my head. I get on well with her as well, which is even better. Today, I got up at 11:00, and wasted this afternoon not really doing anything. Well, it's Christmas. Glad to hear you're feeling better Batbrick :-) Quote
Batbrick Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 (edited) Today, I got up at 11:00, and wasted this afternoon not really doing anything. Well, it's Christmas. __________ This is true :-D __________ Glad to hear you're feeling better Batbrick :-) ___________ Thanks :'-) Well, its 5AM on Christmas morning here, I still get too excited. I just pulled out all the stuff from my stocking, one of which was a bag of chocolates, and the other, a Crossbow Attack. So I'm pretty excited, but REALLY hungry. Heres a lesson: If you want to go to sleep badly one night, remember, always, I repeat ALWAYS eat tea before you go :-( So your a lighting guy eh Brainbox? Man of many talents. I dabbled a bit in that for a while, but its a bit too technical for me :-$ Nothing to Say, but a very merry Batbrick Away! >:-) Edited December 24, 2007 by Batbrick Quote
ExoBuilder Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 (edited) _____________Thanks again :'-) And about the running over incident, consider it EXTREME training X-D I met my cousins at McDonalds not long ago to give and recieve early christmas presents. They live a long distance from me so we have a present exchage early, but hey, I'm not complaining! :-D Also, I went to church today, and my sisters best friend who goes there gave me a christmas present too, how thoughtful *wub* Then we ate a barbecue, and I took most of the BBQ'd prawns! Nothing to say, but Batbrick Away! >:-) Oh ok, extreme training. Well then, when I get my presents tonight, you'll start some extreme training as well! *skull* >:-) So I'm guessing now you've got quite an inpressive Castle collection huh Batbrick? Brainbox Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Thanks :'-) Quite alright. Well, its 5AM on Christmas morning here, I still get too excited. I just pulled out all the stuff from my stocking, one of which was a bag of chocolates, and the other, a Crossbow Attack. So I'm pretty excited, but REALLY hungry. Heres a lesson: If you want to go to sleep badly one night, remember, always, I repeat ALWAYS eat tea before you go :-( |-/ It's only 6:30PM Christmas Eve here, so there's another few hours to go. Still, I'll probably watch a film tonight, pass some time. Maybe text my friends, see how excited they are. Honestly, we're 16/17 and we're as excited about Christmas as we were 10 years ago. Interestingly, I've sent more texts in the last four days than I have in the last four months. Probably because I get on better with my new friends than I have with any others. So your a lighting guy eh Brainbox? Man of many talents.I dabbled a bit in that for a while, but its a bit too technical for me :-$ Jack of all trades, master of none! :-D I do like to get involved in lots of things though. Except sport, no sport. As far as this lighting is concerned though, it's only limitted by the slightly crappy equipment. There're six lights, and three of them are red. As for the sound, you can't stamp too heavily near it, or put anythnig down too hard on the table, as it jumps the CD. :-| Quote
Batbrick Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 So I'm guessing now you've got quite an inpressive Castle collection huh Batbrick? ________ Uh-oh, I knew running you over would come back to haunt me. Oh well! X-D : And my castle collection isn't quite improved yet ExoBuilder, I have to wait for my parents to wake up! :'-( Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

After that I just drove to my parents and just got back from church. Already got my presents... but I do not get Lego of my parents, but money. Greetings, Aredhel Quote

Then again, I DO collect lego :-D Though I do fancy a game of table tennis, my reflexes aren't bad. And I hate equipment like that, the crappy bits that is. Reminds me of my playstation (still got the PS1!), everytime I'd put a foot down it'd pause the game or shut the sound off. I'm assuming the red lights merely have a transparents slip over them am I correct? ___________ Haha see, you have to wait, I don't! *skull* >:-) I hope you sleep well tonight knowing a scary picture of you will be on here soon. ____________ Oh no! Not the candle one! Now everyone will know my intense paranoia of lit candles! Which reminds me. On Sunday's church service, the little kids talk at the front had a lady speaking about the importance of tradition to the younglings. She ACTUALLY got a youg boy to hold a candle in front of the other kids, while she lit it with a lighter! *wacko* I was sweating profusely the entire time naturally, wondering if that irresponsable kid was going to drop it or something. Nothing to Say, but a very merry Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

Widdi Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 (edited) This time I'm posting a three-day special: Sat: 22-12-2007 Worked from 1 am to 7am, drove to the munich location, slept a few hours: Then heasding out to the flea market in Munich-Riem and got some Records (yes THAT black discs, which were common until at least 15-20 years ago) Including 2 old 78s missing the labels, but heck they were cheap These is the whole lot:4 7" singles from 70s, 2 12" LPs (one from 1970, and one from 1984) and two 10" Shellack from 1900-1950s then home to my parents, had a visitor for tea (which could be my Grandmother, but ain't), later put up the turntable and listened to all the records bought today. Sun: 23-12-2007 Slept until 9am, then some TV and computer, by noon got to my car, drove to the Bad-Toelz county for some cross-country-skiing on a 8,5km trail, then into the local tavern, later into the car driving to munich, slept until 12pm. Report to follow shortly: Update: written it http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=13482 Mon: 24-12-2007 Worked from 1am to 5:30am, strayed for a get-together with my colleagues, with beer, mulled wine and Leberkaese (a meat loaf popular here in Bavaria and Austria), drove home. Got into bed. After that some relaxing before Christmas eve, got to church for christmas, opened the present and built the 10182 cafe corner. Batbrick Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 I ate a lot of chocolate, and setup my Crownie, Skellie and Viking Armies. I then watched my newly aquired Firefly, brilliant show, and hilarious too. Most of my family went to the shack at Anson's Bay for a two-week fishing holiday, I leave friday with Mum because I have a couple of Doctor's appointments first. Nothing too serious luckily, the worst is over now :'-) I also did the finishing touches on my post-apoc world, you'll see it tommorrow ;-) Anyway, wish me luck on catching those Cocky Salmon, Flathead and Trevally guys! Nothing to say, but Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

Brainbox Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 I'm assuming the red lights merely have a transparents slip over them am I correct? Erm... I don't actually know. I assume so, but no one can actually reach the lights to have a look, and that's even with tables and chairs. Still, we've apparantly been promised a new board from somewhere/someone, so hopefully, we might be able to rig a bit more up to that. Anyway, today. Well, I got up late *cough*11:30*cough* then spent what little was left of the morning finding somewhere to put my Christmas presents. I had to rearrange my entire DVD collection just to fit the new ones in! And I've got 6 left out because I can't get them to fit |-/ Quote
Matn Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 I didn't sleep to long, listened to music and draw a bit. Now I'm going to clean out my room, put away the table (like, for the tenth time! :-| ) and build a LEGO town on the ground (for the eleventh time :-D ). I bid on the Metroliner today. Two bids... *wacko* One I saw first and I'm close to buy it for 100 EUR; but there is no station or minifigs. And the other I bid 80 EUR on, after I saw the first one, but there is the station and minifigs included. Now... What should I do! 8- Quote
