Napoleon and his army - Version 2.0

My first post ever on Eurobricks was Napoleon and his army.

That was more than 1 year ago, so it's time for version 2.

Here are the pics of my French Napoleonic army as it is today.

Now it's ready to conquer the world !! :-D

Also do you know anywhere where i could get Imperials with shakos Cheaply? Ive looked on ebay and bricklink and they are Unbelivibly high prices.

But I must say you will never take over England Not as long as I have a Breath in my body...And a Bullet in my gun.

Also how did you print of your Yellow Uniform Decals so fine. Im Jealous of your army :-$

Hoorah! It looks like much progress has been made on this lovely army, I love the good mix of both official and custom elements. I only have one suggestion; perhaps the army band should be expanded to better suit such a grand battalion. *sweet*

No. All my line infantry and light infantry soldiers need to be shaved :-D

I have about 15 spare shako's for future extension to the army.

Great army, they have a good soundsystem too :-D

Oh yes a Logitec z-5500 surround system. Perfect for simulating cannon fire.

Cheap shako's don't exist anymore. Today normal prices are $5 :'-(

I just used my cheap HP printer. The decal is available in the torso lib.

You are right. I should expand the band a bit. Add some different instruments maybe. I'll look into that.

Just admit that you can't count above 10 ;-)

The army has a total of 314 soldiers.

Very impressive army, bonaparte. I am going to make a complete historical correct army but first I need:

-decal paper (I just can seem to find some in Belgium...)

-french shakos. (I suppose I could make one, but I have to figure out molding...)

Right now they are still on my little table, but I need that space for building MOCs.

So very soon the army will go into a box together with my british army.

From now on I will focus more on building MOCs and not so much on expanding my armies.

The idea is to use the figs in the future in several pirate MOCs.

I wished I had room for building a big harbor like Z's.

But this little table where the army is on is all I have.

Once my own house is ready, I'll have place to build bigger MOCs.

a huge army you have. like both the french and the british one. as for my own troops i have about 120 imperial guards and 40 imperal soldiers. and been thinking of making my own regmiments, not just red or blue.

but for ex : 4 regiments of 30 men (imperial guards) but im wondering about seveal things about army making, do you have a fixed standard number of the regiment on foot? or have you just divided what you have into regiments? i cant see in the pictues but do your troops all look the same or do you make coloring or modifications on soldiers from diffierent regiments? (im talking of the standard infantry regiments).

Again i really like your army. will be a tough enemy to meet for my little one :)

Most Impressive Bonaparte I too have stop collection for now till I can have more free time on my hands, and prices to calm down. :'-( Your French army has about 30 more Infantry and about 25 Calvary since I only have 12 Mameluk's and 8 Cuirassairs. Very nice can't wait to see your future MOC's. *y*
