halixon Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) Previous Chapter: Voraal leaves Avalonia --- Next Chapter: The Kelra And thus Aeldric was off to Nocturnus, to avenge not only Aurthal, but his family as well. He crossed many ruins of times' past. He wondered what structures many of them served as. He passed a few dead looking vines that seemed to reach out towards him. He looked far off into the distance, and saw the ominous and towering Rakath Mountains. He knew he would have to pass through the Kelra Labyrinths to get to Axtrous' dwelling, but he had confidence. --- So guys, i'm not sure how i should present Aeldric's journey through the Labyrinth, perhaps some of you Nocties could give me some insight. Anyways, C&C are welcome. Edited June 27, 2016 by Windusky Quote
TitusV Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 You clearly see this is nocturnus, due to vegetation, the black ground and the ruïns. And altough the ground could use a bit of texture, you did a good job! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Have a glance at the first page of our discussion- there's a MOC showing part of the labyrinths. Nice build, it's got a nice bleak feel! Quote
Jacob Nion Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I like the atmosphere of this! Feels very dark. About the Kelra; I guess the labyrinth itself isn't that hard to depict, it's mainly torned walls. The more important thing is what you will face inside the labyrinth. It's filled with monsters like minotaurs and lizardmen and every nightmare you dare to imagine. And of course the remains of unlucky wanderers. Quote
LittleJohn Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Nice build, the black ground and ruins are great One suggestion would be to make the path twist a little more, to look more natural Quote
Blufiji Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) When in the labyrinths, a torch is a nice touch. Also leaves on the walls to make vines is always a go to move. Also nice job on this, good camera perspectives. Edited September 23, 2015 by Blufiji Quote
