For the naming question: I'm fine with Ferro Azule, but also with Ferro Verte, or with Verte-Azule, Azule-Verte, Ferro Farelli, Farelli Ferro, An Ferro, An Farelli, An Azuli, An Verte, An Ferro-Azule, An Ferro-Verte, An Azule-Ferro, An Verte-Ferro,... *takes deep breath*

But I'd prefer An Ferro-Azule Verte-Farelli.

And I really like Doubloon for the round island.

I think you must settle for the honour of inventing this fine policy, and then ensure your incentives(not just monetary, obviously) are sufficient (compared to others) to attract builders.

Indeed! But to get the real meaning across it needs a hyphen, as in "Doub-loony."

A reminder of Dearji's ideas on the matter:

Dearji the Windsong suggests Torrach as the name for Island 5, and Gruagach or Oigh as a name for Island 6.

Perhaps a translation is in order. Torrach means "pregnant." Gruagach and Oigh are both words for "maiden."

I like Torrach Gruacha better, than Azul Ferro, the more I think of it. Fitting for how the island looks, if the mountain is round. A rare mountain island. Can we take the artistic liberty to shape the geological landscape?

Torrach is a descriptor of Island 5, not 6. Gruagach (misspelled the second time, edited) is a descriptor of Island 6, along with Oigh. There seems to be some more confusion. In Truachesh culture, a 'maiden' is any female who has not been pregnant. These are different aspects of the Triuri.

Look at the map, and you'll see that Island 5 does look like a pregnant belly. Island 6 is described as having "good coves and plenty of natural bays."

That's what I thought (about the two words being two different names); but someone else put them together.

Sir Stig's suggestion seems pretty good to me. That is, I think we could come up with something better than Torrach Gruacha (or Gruagach?) (the two don't really go together super well, maybe better just Torrach), but if I can get Ferro Azure, name the other island Pato Muerto, for all I care!
